Whitegate GAA was a hive of activity yesterdat for our Festival of Hurling!
Our U6, U8 & U10 teams were all playing today, with an amazing 5 games going on at the same time this morning! For some of our U6 hurlers this was their 1st time in a Whitegate jersey & they were amazing playing Scariff! 🤩
Our U8s also took on Scariff, with some excellent hurling on display!
Our U10s had a busy morning, playing Danesfort, Birr & Portumna. These boys improved with every match & their dedication to training is really paying off!
The fun wasn't only on the pitch with a bouncy castle, inflatable games & the highligh of the day..... The Hurley Huts speed cage!
Huge thanks to The Hurley Hut for coming over & setting up a shop for the day.
Thanks to the trainers for organising a memorable day for all and to the volunteers & parents for helping out throughout the day.

We are looking forward to next year already! ❤️🖤

What a super 3 days we had for this summers skills weekend!

Well done to all the boys who took part! Great to see so many young hurlers having fun.

A huge thank you to our wonderful coaches and volunteers who took the time off work to help over the 3 days.

To all the parents who sent food over the 3 days for the coaches!

To Mags and Noel Connolly who sponsored the ice cream van for all the kids.

To the pitch committee who had the pitches and astros in top condition over the few days!

To Colm Murray and Dan Comer for joining us and taking the time to take pictures, sign autographs, and have chats with all the kids.

To the Hurley Hut for the speed cage which was great entertainment for both the kids and adults!

The Bob O Keefe Cup also joined us yesterday and was great excitement for all to see.

Until next year!
