Through all the crazy weather forecasts and the constant question of “Will it rain or won’t it?” one thing was always certain: we were all coming together to celebrate the love of Zane & Tyler. Yesterday was filled with unforgettable moments, beautiful memories, and so much love. It was truly a one-of-a-kind day that we’ll cherish forever.

Last month I went to Palm Springs for the first time, and I fell in love. Being there in the off season was perfect; it felt like a sleepy little town, with not much to do beside early morning hikes and late evening neighborhood strolls. And midday was perfect for some extended pool time. I loved all the colors and textures of the palms, pools and desert mountains; very different from my neck of the (literal) woods. I painted several tiny paintings of some of our vistas, here are a few. These are made on off-cuts of matboard, with six colors of acrylic gouache and one tiny square brush. I hope to return someday for an artist’s retreat, I can see why artists made it a place for themselves to work, dream, sketch. 🌄

Peter and Gavin marry at Ingleside Inn, and Melvins in Palm Springs.
With a well hung 48 inch Disco Ball, for the dinner and Party!!!!
Classic Palm Springs. Built in 1922, the Ingleside Inn became a legendary Palm Springs hideaway for Hollywood’s elite including Clark Gable, Elizabeth Taylor, Salvador Dalí, Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando and other society figures. In 1975, Mel Haber restored the property and opened Melvyn’s, an elegant supper club that became a favorite of Frank Sinatra and the Hollywood Rat Pack. A true piece of old Palm Springs glamour—
