“It’s just a chair” is a bold thing to say around me!

Especially when I’ve met the maker, seen the hand-finished details, and asked enough questions to make us late to the next showroom.

Sourcing at @highpointmarket is about more than finding a good-looking piece. I want to know how it’s made, why a particular material was chosen, and what can be customized to make it right for a client.

The craftsmanship is worth seeking out. And, apparently, worth rearranging my entire afternoon to discuss. What’s the detail you can never resist? 👀

Plenty of living happens in the kitchen. It’s a creative comfort zone for the culinarily inclined, the hub of daily activity for many families, and often the most crowded room at a party. So why shouldn’t the design reflect that? At the link in our bio, we looked back at some of our favorite kitchens featured in ELLE Decor to share what elevates these spaces beyond elegant function and material beauty into inviting destinations.

Warm, restrained and rich in detail. The cabinetry gives this kitchen its architectural presence, balanced by a material palette that carries softly throughout the space.
