Had the C8 from @thej.anthonycollection back in for some basic brake maintenance that Bryce handled, and a few... other... 👀 super cool things to update. We're keeping all that under wraps for the moment though. 🤫

A lot of awesome things in the near future for this monster of a car, and we couldn't be more excited to be part of it!

This weekend said a lot about Tony. He hurt his arm badly enough to go to the hospital, then came back and finished the race.

A lot of people in motorsports talk about giving back to the sport. Tony actually does it.

Over the last year, I’ve watched him invest a huge amount of time, resources and energy into grassroots motorsports. He has supported the Optima series, teams and individual drivers, promoted the sport, and helped the people around him. Ultimate Street Car Series is really taking off, and I’m so happy to see it grow.

But today, I want to talk about what people may not see from behind the wheel.

That car is a handful.

People see that much power and think, “I’d be fast too if I had that.”

The reality is different. The more power you have, the less room you have for mistakes. Throttle control, braking and car placement become even more important. When you start carrying serious speed, everything happens faster. Every tenth is earned.

Tony has done a damn good job learning to manage it.

Watching him launch the car differently depending on course, throttle control on autocross, or carry it through the Corkscrew is impressive. He’s learning how to use it at the limit.

And this weekend, after hurting his arm enough to go to the hospital, he came back and finished the race.

That says a lot about him.

That’s what I enjoy most about coaching Tony. There’s always another level to chase, and he’s willing to put in the work to find it.

Tony has also been one of the biggest supporters of what I’m doing. He has trusted me with his coaching and continues pushing me toward bigger and better things.

I’m extremely grateful for that.

More importantly, I’m grateful for what he’s doing for the sport. He could put his energy anywhere, but he continues choosing to invest it in motorsports and the people around him.

So here’s to Tony, the cars of the Ultimate Street Car Series, abundant horsepower, grinding for tenths, broken and yet to be broken lap records, and all the work it takes to make a car like this go fast.

There’s still a lot more to find.
I’m excited to see where we take it.

@thej.anthonycollection left this at our door the other day. Always fun to have the C8 back in our hands for final checks and double checks before any rowdy activities. 🫡

(Peep them @8twelvewheels tho.)

Three cars. Three completely different ways to build an Ultimate Street Car.

Modern American performance, lightweight roadster, old school muscle. There is no single recipe for getting it right.

Bring the car you built. Put it through every discipline. Find out what it can really do.

Which one are you taking the keys to?

There is always more happening in the paddock than most people see.

Every build has a story. Every driver has a goal. Every event brings this community together to push harder, learn more, and have fun doing it.

We are already looking forward to the next one.

Tony really came out swinging at the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge! Number one overall, and no signs of slowing down. 🫡 Great job man!

Thank you to @andersoncomposites for the track footage/parts and @j.anthony_collections for being part of this experience and letting this car be the monster the driver needs it to be!
