To say this journey has been surreal is an understatement from a kid that was skipping practice everyday to a 2x state champion is an experience like no other and the way it has changed my life is something I wouldn’t change for the world. Thank you to coach G for the continuous support no matter how difficult I could be at times @iziga79 ( my dad 😂) for being one of the most influential people to me on this journey as without you I would have definitely quit a long time ago and outside of that I would have never even thought about doing hurdles in the first place. Thank you to @coachoriley for everything he has done for me in this short year together and showing me how much room I have to grow and showing me the much longer path I have to take on this journey and giving constant support. The support from my family has also been one like no other the money ,time, ups and downs and the overall crazy roller coaster that this sport has put us on would not be possible without them. I can’t ignore the impact that has come from some of the most important people on this journey being my teammates competitors and friends as they have always challenged me to continue growing no matter the circumstances and pushed me to adapt to any situation thrown my way. Too say that this journey has been easy would be a lie but to say that i wouldn’t want it any other way is as true as it gets and for that reason I can’t wait to see what the future holds and remember “its a mentality thing” but also “ what did you expect” #statechamp #2 #nys #seniorszn #nymetroelite🏅
