Many of you have seen the devastation that has been caused by hurricane beryl in the Caribbean.
Well, it has severely impacted someone very close to me, @chloeneed. Luckily Chloe has made it through alive and unharmed, however our beloved @sv_moonflower3 is in a pickle.
While Chloe has been out helping others, she is yet to receive much help herself. Her generosity has been shown to so many of us over the years, let’s return the favour and help her out in her time of ‘NEED’
However, Moonflower is stuck on her side in the mangroves of carriacou, she will need to be lifted back into the water, then once she is surely floating she needs new standing rigging, mast, rudder, most stainless fixings on the topsides, and on top of that Chloe has been victim to opportunistic looting, and someone has stolen our daisy-mae’s outboard. Meaning Chloe cannot easily get to and from moonflower to even begin making progress.
Please help me and support Chloe and Moonflower getting back out on the water, so she can continue sailing and helping women to feel comfortable learning and growing and achieving their dreams on board!

"Now bring me that horizon"
That old stagnant feeling has arrived after nearly a year back in the UK.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
This year has flown by ✈️
Done some cool shit 🎉
Had many fun 🥳

But it's just not quite scratching that itch.
The doctor said to use a cream.
But I said, no doctor. Cream just wont do.
He said "Trust me, I'm a doctor. That's a fungus"

To which I said "A TRAVEL FUNGUS"
"You're insane...I like that." said the Doctor as he slowly sipped his coffee and stared out of the broken, poorly funded and heavily understaffed, poor working conditions and poverty paying NHS window.

"Your prescription is on the table. I knew I wouldn't be able to talk you out of this"

"Thank you" I said. "For everything" as a closed the door.

Hand tight on my prescription for 25c heat, a cold bottle of rum, a whatsapp group full of silly friends who are also avoiding the monotonous wheel of responsibility AND I saw that the Dr had also suggested I take a sense of freedom that only a plane ticket and a hastily packed bag of clothes can provide, thrice a year, with water.

I was itching again.
Maybe it was just a fungus after all.
But it was too late.
I was sat in the departure lounge with a Boots meal deal and no charge on my phone, which my plane tickets were on.

It was time.
