I remember this season by the times we fought back.

The vulnerable moments. The times we learned. The times we laughed. The triumphs. The hugs. The tears. The times we shattered PRs. The times we fell short, then got back up. Emotion and passion have a place here.

There are countless ins and outs, twists and turns, and highs and lows in a given year. Through it all, this team is home away from home for all who pour into it.

It is so special to have a front row seat to witness the personal growth and journeys of these people. Thank you all for filling my cup. Keep believing!

After 4 years, we did it.

Converse University will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Lord for the friends, family, memories, and growth throughout this journey. Grateful for every moment and excited for whatโ€™s next.

Psalms 107:1
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his faithful love endures forever.

If I had the chance to do it again, I wouldn't hesitate one bit. From the people that I got to meet to the ones that are basically family, I will always be grateful.

First off, I want to thank the Lord for letting me use running as a platform to glorify Him. He's helped me grow in so many ways I never thought of. While the journey had its many ups and downs over the years, He has given me plenty of opportunities to glorify Him and be thankful.

I want to thank my family and friends for always supporting me over the years and encouraging me to keep going when times got tough. Y'all have always shown me the good that can come out of situations.

Lastly, I want to thank the coaches who've helped me get here today. Coach Patrick, Coach King, and Coach Jackson, thank yall for coaching me up from middle to high school over the years. Coach Rennix, thank you for taking a chance and giving me the opportunity to have a collegiate running career. Who knows where I would have went if you hadn't reached out. Coach Roger and Coach Grace, thank yall both for continuing to believe in me over the last year. While it was a short time with yall, it has meant so much to me.

I dont like the saying goodbye. So... until next time.

Another debate season is already in the books. Debate is a stressful, adrenaline filled mess that is beyond difficult to prepare for, but that's part of its charm. Even if I always feel exhausted on multiple fronts when I get home from competition, the people I get to meet and work with from my own delegation and others from around the country and the world as well as the overall experience itself have me wanting to do it all over again. This year our school had the distinction of getting a distinguished delegation award at the National Arab League conference out of over 20 schools and I couldn't be more proud of every single one my teammates that made that happen, as well as our faculty advisor who we couldn't do any of this without. I am so grateful to have met do many wonderful, smart and caring people at conference this year and for those who are pursuing it I hope to see your faces in our future government as every single person I have met there is someone that I would want making decisions for the benefit of mankind. I am beyond humbled to get to do this and with such great people it really becomes like a family. Stay awesome. Stay safe. Stay blessed. All of you. And Free Palestine! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ
