They told him to check into a psychiatric hospital.

It was 2009, right after the financial crisis. @stevevarsano ‘s plan? Build a store to sell private jets.

A little girl points at a Gulfstream G650 in The Jet Business showroom, and her mom reminds her: “Daddy said keep it under $100 million.”

Steve then took them to see a real jet, and his own account went from 5,000 followers to viral almost overnight.

Private jet buyers are waiting months—or even years—for new aircraft as strong demand, limited production capacity, supply-chain constraints, and complex aircraft manufacturing timelines put pressure on deliveries.
From the Gulfstream G700 to other ultra-long-range business jets, buyers face a challenge that money alone cannot always solve: securing a production slot and getting the aircraft delivered on time.
In private aviation, the ultimate luxury isn't just owning a jet—it's getting access to the right aircraft when you need it.

@stevevarsano , the man billionaires call when they want a jet, says almost nobody should buy one just for personal use.

His rule: if you don’t need at least 150 flight hours a year, don’t buy.

He also explains why renting your jet out to cover costs sounds smart but usually turns into a headache.
