To the beautiful souls of Essaouira,

Thank you for changing my life.

To Pierre and the entire Chill Art Hostel family—thank you for your kindness, your care, and for making me feel at home when I needed it most. Your generosity and the love of every staff member will always stay with me.

To Café L’esprit—thank you for believing in my gifts and giving me a space to share them through community, culture, and incredible food.

To Mega Loft—thank you for opening your doors to my workshops and trusting me to host my first event with the amazing desert band Assid.

To my brother Lionel from New Orleans—thank you for making sure I never went hungry and for keeping me laughing through some of my darkest days. And to my brother Jon from California—thank you for the delicious meals you prepared at the guest house, always made with love.

Meryem, your heart is pure gold. Soukaina, our time with each other was short, but our connection was truly beautiful.

Tilda from Slovakia—thank you for the laughter, our morning meditations, and for showing up for me exactly when I needed you. Naka, my soul sister, thank you for helping me step into my next chapter. You have been such an important part of this journey.

To DJ Mask Off, Ayoub, Brahim, and all the incredible musicians—thank you for filling the square with music, creating with me, and making my soul dance. And to everyone who joined Sunrise Soul Movement, thank you for sharing your hearts with me.

To all my Moroccan brothers and sisters, thank you for showing the world what true hospitality, love, and community look like.

Essaouira, you didn’t just give me memories—you gave me family. A piece of my heart will always belong here. Until we meet again… ❤️🇲🇦. Thank you Beautiful @hadiiyabarbel for my fabulous skirt/dress it’s so versatile just like you. :-)

”Easy, Slow”

Ahead of their upcoming debut album, Kid08 releases Easy, Slow — a piano ballad set somewhere in a lonesome desert. Its pace and story move like a gloomy late-night drive or a weathered rocking chair at dusk, with shimmering guitars appearing like mirages in the desert heat. A sandstorm of noise gathers, almost swallowing the mirages before clearing again, revealing a calm landscape of final contemplation.
