People I met in New York:

The archangel Michael, who gifted me a picture that he drew with Jesus that protects me from demons
(Stairway across from the local Bodega)

Neal, who showed me pictures of sunsets in the Hamptons and told me that the secret to a 40 year marriage is patience
(Washington square park)

Mauricio, Kenny, and the Italians, who adopted me into their coffee chat
(Piccola Cafeteria, New Jersey)

Far more impressive than us climbing up the 999 steps to Tianmenshan cave was the woman who did it wearing Louboutin heels.

It was pretty foggy at the summit but the sun broke through a few times throughout the morning and the afternoon was beautiful!

Spent the day traveling from HK to Furongzhen, which is a scenic town situated over a waterfall (and has since been turned into a tourist hotspot, very similar vibes to Santorini). The town was originally called Wangcun but was renamed! in 2007 to capitalize on the success of a film shot in it called Hibiscus Town, a “scar drama” detailing the challenges of life going through the cultural revolution.

I thought that probably the waterfall shots would be my favorites of the day but the HSR route through Hunan was absolutely gorgeous, alpine vibes.

ALSO the waterfall lights up at night and it’s supposed to be very nice but it started pouring down rain so no shots of the light show! Tomorrow off to Zhangjiajie—we’ll start with the Golden Whip Stream.

Schuylkill river trail so good it'll have you saying absolutely insane things like "we should move to Manayunk." This summer is shaping up to be a good one, and the World Cup vibes are EXCELLENT

(TLDR: I do improv now). Last year I realized the fun, friendly version of me had gone missing. In her place was a stressed-out, pandemic-brained, work-from-home goblin who almost exclusively only talked to Matt and Peanut and had forgotten how to socialize with other living creatures. So I signed up for improv classes to see if I could find her. And peekaboo! Somewhere between pretending to be a naughty grandma and yelling nonsense on stage with a delightful group of fellow weirdos, there she was! If you’ve ever been curious about improv, or want a healthy fun hobby or way to meet new friends, go and do it! Nothing to lose, just lots of ridiculous group pics to gain 👻🤡 #onebigclap

What to do on a rainy foggy winterbreak day? Why, nip down to the Met cloisters for a visit, of course!
