It’s Given Flashback Friday!

The vision has always BEEN there.

A throwback to a creative production created by Lynette LaShawn, @queenofmakingascene, the visionary behind Newark Fashion Night Out, highlighting some of Newark’s designers, creatives and changemakers.

When we say Newark has style, this is what we mean. The talent, the culture and the point of view have always been here.

NFNO is building a bigger platform for the world to see it.

Opening Night tickets are on sale now. Limited VIP tickets available.

Newark’s Fashion Scene was on full display last night at @newarkmuseumart #ArtAfterDarkNMOA 7th Annual Pride Ball Event!!

The looks were everything and the fashion moments were camera-worthy. There were too many fly fits to capture them all, but here are some of the fabulous frames we did catch.

Style Note: Newark Fashion Night Out continues to spotlight the style, creativity, and talent shaping fashion in Newark.

Next up: @newarkprideinc official kickoff next week. Follow their page to stay in the know.

Black queer excellence completely took over NYC for the 10th Anniversary Native Son Awards!

On Juneteenth, Pier Sixty was filled with pure joy, incredible style, and deep legacy as everyone celebrated “A Legacy of Pride.” It was so amazing reconnecting with old friends and making so many incredible new connections along the way.

Shoutout to founder @emilwilbekin for creating such a beautiful, vital space to uplift Black queer men.

Congratulations to the amazing 2026 honorees:
✨ Anthony Hemingway
✨ Durand Bernarr
✨ Tramell Tillman
✨ Guy Anthony

The night was unforgettable. Here’s to the next 10 years of @nativesonnow impact!
