POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I used to think confidence and insecurity lived on opposite ends of the spectrum.

But sometimes they’re just different expressions of the same story.

“I’m better than everyone else” and “I’m not good enough” can both be protective.

What interests me now is what’s underneath the swing.

Different extremes. Same story underneath.

Changing the story doesn’t mean pretending the past didn’t happen.

It means honoring what was real without letting it decide what has to happen next.

Sometimes I don’t need the whole plan. I just need the next aligned step.

Hope is worth the risk.

The finale of Reclaiming Agency, Who Are You Without the Story?, is now on YouTube. Link in bio 🔗

What happens when a story you’ve repeated for years starts to feel like who you are?

Letting go can feel strangely threatening, even when the story is limiting you.

In the final episode of Reclaiming Agency, I’m asking a different question:

Who might you become without an old conclusion about yourself?

Who Are You Without the Story? Tomorrow.

Sometimes powerlessness doesn’t look like failure.
Sometimes it looks like success you refuse to own.
Sometimes it sounds like, “I can’t,” “that’s just how it is,” or “I just got lucky.”

Episode 2 of Reclaiming Agency asks a harder question:

Where am I giving away power I actually have?

Why Capable People Feel Powerless

Big goals start with a team willing to grow together.

A few weeks ago, our Holt Brothers Foundation team stepped away from the day-to-day for an incredible coaching session with @thekatharris and @kristinfrade of Novus Global.

We challenged ourselves to think bigger, communicate better, trust each other more, and get comfortable pursuing some BIG goals for the Foundation and the families we serve.

There was plenty of learning, plenty of laughter, and a lot of excitement about what’s ahead.

We left feeling energized, connected, and ready to keep growing into the team our mission calls us to be.

Because there’s courage in community—and that starts with us, too.

Thank you, Kat and Kristin, for an incredible day! 🙌

When you’re going after something that’s outside of your comfort zone, that you haven’t gone after before, there will come a point where you cannot go any further as this version of yourself.

This is the moment most people bail.

But you—I invite you to stay.

This is where the good stuff happens.

Where the old self gets to fall away, and the new version of you gets to rise up.

People listen creating a vision is hard work. But it’s worth it often. I see with my clients and myself that creating a 5 to 10 your vision is relatively easy. It’s creating a 3 to 6 month vision that becomes challenging and I think that’s because the six month vision requires you to begin changing now. It requires you to begin asking questions now - it requires you to begin taking action now - and if you want the 10 year vision to come true, you must start now.

We took it to the next level with Rockit Motors by doing our signature 2-day Meta Performance Training in 4 locations at the same time. The CEO was thrilled and so were we at @novus.global.

This company is on fire, making acquisitions and securing private equity investment. They've been described as a unicorn for their culture, and it's been a joy to partner with them for almost 10 years.
