Ridiculous human. Pop culture addict. Nostalgia victim. Awkward storyteller. Truth keeper. Amateur therapist. My sign is neon. My gingas are flippin.

For almost a year now I've served as Director of Creative Worship and Community Engagement at First UMC Sanford, and I've been so thankful for and proud of the work I've gotten to be a part of to create vital worship experiences. Whether you're close enough to come and participate in person or not, I want to invite you to see the work we've been doing through our Midweek Devotions. They are an abridged version of our Sunday afternoon worship service, The Table, and they feature a few songs and a reflection on the scripture of the week. My hope is that these can be something you access any time during the week when you need a pick-me-up with some worship, contemplation, and prayer. This has been truly life giving and inspiring for me, and I hope I can share the work I've gotten to do with you as well. The link to our YouTube page is in my bio, as well as a link to our most recent Midweek Devotion.

Last month was the first full blown DeLand Indie Market since COVID-19 came in like a wrecking ball last year. I happened to enter a drawing for a free commission from Emily, a really talented artist selling stickers, cards, and prints. If you can’t tell, I won, and this is the awesome illustrated profile she made of me. Go follow her!

These two are more like my little sisters than just cousins. So happy we’ve had so many chances to catch up over the holidays!

My cousin’s back in town for winter break, so we got our moms together for the holiday edition of @delandindiemarket and brunch at @the_table_deland. Not pictured: her mom. Good times were had and too much food was eaten.

Well, @thecwizombie’s final season premieres tonight and it’s @robertearlbuckley’s birthday too, so I figured why not throw it back to the time I met him at @heroesfanfest? Bonus: Rob photobombing my photo with @therealshantel. #tbt
