I’m in anticipation of the new #crystallake series premiering this Friday I rated all 12 #fridaythe13th flicks under 15 minutes! Check it out and comment below to list yours! Would love to hear!! ⛏️🪓🔪💥👀 Friday the 13th the final chapter- Jason at his prime vitality. I think tonally this one was one of darkest and had a certain artistic quality or seriousness about by director Joseph Zito especially after the campiness of part 3. Friday the 13th part 3 in 3-D- absolutely love it! Had all the great staples of an F13 film. And Chris is my fav final girl! Friday the 13th Part 2- live the aesthetic on this one! Jason in the bag mask I think one of the scariest of them all! Friday the 13th part 6: Jason Lives Director Tom McLoughlin and composter Harry Manfredini take the franchise to new heights with a new tone and a self referential angle that would prove to be a huge influence. Friday the 13th 1980- the one that started it all! ‘Nuff said true believers! Friday the 13th part 5 A New Beginning - what a hoot this movie is! I love it faux Jason and all! Friday the 13th part 7: The new blood- Jason vs Jean grey thr telekinetic no that’s Tina. She was bad a$$. I feel this movie is a bridge to the early days and the newer brand of the franchise Jason X- fun Sci Fi horror movie and glad it’s part of the Jason lore and series. Freddy Vs Jason - this one could have been so iconic but Jason comes off as a zombie and I think they were just going for an over the top blockbuster and not really pay homage to this slasher icons. Still glad we got Jason and Freddy crossover Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday - like the Jason lore and Voorhees family backstory legend. Unfortunately the movie is pretty terrible. At least Manfredini brings an amazing score Friday the 13th Part 8 Jason Takes Manhattan - pretty terrible movie but great to have Kane Hodder back and it also has some funny moments that have become fan favorite moments Friday the 13th 2009- oh man this is a tough watch for me. Didn’t enjoy the tone at all for an F13 film. Derrick mears out his heart and soul in to Jason . It was hard to root for the characters written so obnoxiously

Happy Terrifying Tuesday!! I made a mess of things over here at BatFan Headquarters, but had to bust out all the F13 collectibles! Any #Fridaythe13th fans out there? I guess you can say I’m getting ready for the new #CrystalLake series by @bradcalebkane releasing on Peacock this Friday. Been a fan of the franchise since 1985! Absolutely pumped that @officialharrymanfredini is returning on music. One of the reasons I’m so pumped about it! I was lucky enough to get the book @musicoffridaythe13th and interview the author @bmsatter Brian takes a deep dive into Manfredini‘s musical universe o Friday the 13th and I have to say both of them are beyond talented. So I busted out my #sideshowcollectibles 12 inch #jasonvoornees, my 7“ #NECA figures all my F13 Fangoria magazines, all my F13 VHS tapes all of the scores on CD! I couldn’t fit the rest of my F13 collectibles in but I think you get the point….I’m ready for Friday 10/15. I heard great things about the show and that @lindacardellini is amazing! Have a blessed evening y’all and I hope you’re enjoying spooky season so far! ⛏️🔪🪓

It’s been a while but here is a quick update from BatFan Comics! I share some of the comics I’m reading and some marathons I’m doing and then make an announcement regarding a massive ❌-Marathon I’m starting and inviting YOU! 🫵 it’s a pretty ambitious marathon maybe one of the biggest I’ve done…wait nope I read every issue of Batman and Detective Comics in existence lol BUT nevertheless this is a juggernaut of a marathon and such good reads folks…an excellent era for #xmen and the ❌-Books! I’m currently at 80s Claremont and Silvestri run. And then the arrival of Jim Lee with only the highest selling comic of all time x-Men 1 (October, 1991). I’ll include #xforce #xfactor #wolverine to name a few! We’ll take it all the way up to one of my favorite ❌-Stories the X-Cutioner’s Song (1992) all the way up to the Fatal Attractions (1993)storyline which now involves the #excalibur title! Then heading all the way to Age of Apocalypse 1995 straight on to the Joe Mauderia era culminating with Uncanny X-Men 350 in 1997. But along the way you get great characters and stories like 1st app Gambit, Bishop a new and revived Psylocke to name a few. You get the ❌-Traitor storyline. So I’m looking for some ❌-nuts and fans out there to join this marathon with me. I give the details in the video but hoping we can do a weekly or bi-weekly Zoom or even IG message chat and share our love of these books. I am getting and have a lot of the single issues but you can surely find a lot of these on digital, epic collections or Omnibius collections. Check out the video and if you’re interested comment below or message me! All these and a video bomb by Bodhi! 🐈‍⬛👀😄 Andrew ❌-Fan BatFan signing off! Have a wonderful Friday and blessed weekend! 🙌🙌❌💥👀👀

With the changing of the seasons in full effect, we now approach our beloved spooky season. The the colors of black and orange standing out from the decorations. The costumes and parties. Bringing out the sweaters from storage... Because this has always been my favorite time of the year, it carries with it a sense of nostalgia. And what better way to prepare for favorite month than with a combination of both! We @thekillerpointofviewnetwork have decided to go over some of our favorite horror films that bring with each of them not only the thrills and chills but also the nostalgic effect. Enjoy!
