Nice days i Milan with Ulrika, Hampus, Heddie and Helen. Spontaneous meetings, good food and nice conversations. Extremely few projects with sustainable future thinking. But I found a nice book in Muuto’s showroom.😘

Experiment, design therapy and alternative design production: The Kinship Method is a collaborative design method created by Margot Barolo.

Each designer makes three chairs in three rounds like a relay race, based on the creation of the previous group member. Through the act of daring to give and receive they find new ways to develop the designer role.

Thank you ❤️‍🔥A house Ark❤️‍🔥for one of the most precious and unexpected prize I’ve received: Event Award 2021 for the exhibition and event: Kinship & Friends + Alternative Methods. With almost no budget and a lot of help and support from the exhibitors, colleges, friends and family we managed to contribute a piece of something extra to this design week. Extra thanks to the fantastic people @ahouse_ark - to @stockholmcreativeedition - to @karlssonbjork - to @jnsjohansson and his friends for stunning audivisuel experiences - @arviniusorfeus - to @sam_bou (Samira Bouabana) and to @beckmanscollegeofdesign for everything to make the project The Kinship Method possible!💜#thekinshipmethod #thekinshipproject #kinship&friends #alternativedesignmethods

One and ... How Many Chairs?
（Inspired by One and Three Chairs by Joseph Kosuth, 1965）

Chairs center us to suit themselves, and therefore define our bodies to make themselves essential to our sexuality;
Chairs are spies invented by the non-organic holy ghost of the State, architecture;
‘Chair,’ the mispronounced ‘Cathedral,’ reinforces a political concept that is not on our side of liberation every time we speaks of the word itself ...

- Jimmie Durham: Between the Furniture and the Building (between a Rock and a Hard Place) , “Chapter One: ‘A Kind of Upright Gravestone: Hence, also a Pillar’ ” , 1998, pp. 124–132.

New program "3SSSELECT" is live at our website (3ssstudios.com) under "AGENDA" as an growing archive featuring our thoughts & discussions on books, designs, art, and objects, etc.

But anyways ...
Grab a chair,
take a seat,
and read ... @bungee.space

Hope you have a lovely 🪑!
