And this one feels extra special because it’s a full-circle moment.

When I go on maternity leave, Krislyn will officially graduate from her assistant role and step into her role as a stylist here at RF Artistry. Watching her grow throughout this program has been one of the most rewarding parts of building a team.

Now, I’m ready to train my next assistant.

I’m looking for someone who wants more than just a job in a salon. Someone who wants to be educated, coached, challenged, and developed as they build their career behind the chair.

Our little girl will be here before we know it, which means maternity leave is officially on the calendar!

I’ll be taking some time away from the salon starting October 24th and will be back behind the chair January 4th. 🥹🤍

While I’m away, Krislyn will be taking care of everyone and keeping things running at RF Artistry. I’m so excited for you all to get to spend some time with her while I’m soaking up those newborn days.

I only have a few appointments left before maternity leave!

I came to Fort Smith to learn, but I’m leaving with a completely different level of motivation for the career I’m building.

This week reminded me exactly why I chose this industry and how badly I want to be great at it. I want to be in the top 1%, and I know that doesn’t happen by staying comfortable. It happens by constantly learning, practicing, setting bigger goals, and actually putting in the work.

I’m heading home with pages of notes, a head full of ideas, and a serious fire under me. Now I get to take everything I learned this week and put it behind the chair.
I can’t wait to get home, meet my goals, keep pushing myself, and see what I will build from here.
This week was a big one. And I’m just getting started🖤

The lessons I’ve learned, the friendships I’ve made, and the incredible instructors I’ve had the privilege of learning from are things I’ll carry with me forever. I’m so grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this journey—you’ve made this experience even more special, and I’m thankful to know who my people are. ☺️

While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, I’m beyond excited to begin the next one and finally start the career I’ve always dreamed of. Here’s to new beginnings! 🩷
