The hardest part about a pageant will never be the outcome but leaving the friends you made.

✨ FINALS DAY ✨

I went into finals night with a full heart. I genuinely have never had so much fun at a pageant and I felt at peace the entire week. That is because of the amazing program @allisondemarcus put on, it's hard to believe it's only been 5 years!

Each and every single national board member, staff, and volunteers poured their hearts into us girls. Their love and kindness is unforgettable. Not only were they filled with love but the girls were too! I'm coming home with 50 new best friends and I couldn't imagine it any other way.

From the bottom of my heart I adore this organization and I cannot wait to see our new Miss Teen Volunteer America represent our class! Not everything in life goes the way we plan but it's thanks to every single amazing person I crossed paths with this week that I am reminded that God has a bigger plan for everyone we just don't know it yet.

Did you know a single water bottle can take up to 450 years to decompose?

With my platform Girls for a Greener Future I am actively advocating for the environment and what steps all of us can do to take strides towards a healthier environment. I loved being able to speak about this in my monologue. Even though things don't exactly go as planned, I hope at least one person in the audience was inspired to make changes in their lifestyles to help make the future greener.
