We played three unreleased songs last night, including Judas to a room full of and alongside some pretty special folks.

Yesterday I had a grand old time at the 22nd Annual Highland Jazz and Blues Festival of Shreveport-Bossier, and I spent the full day leading craft activities with kids beneath the "Inspiration Stage" tent so I got to hear all types of incredibly talented acts throughout the event!

The North DeSoto Middle School Jazz Band did a fantastic job and the energy was great! Speaking of energy, I've never seen so much from one person like @theladychops 💥 Her percussion-ccentric performance left everyone cheering and it was so fun watching her involve members of the audience (me included!)

The evening wrapped up with some fantastic performances by the Bossier & @caddoschools @talentedartsprogram Musical Students! I didn't get a photo of everyone, but this lil dude on the drums was killing it! This reminds me why I always love coming to @highlandjazzfest and seeing all of the raw talent on display. I can't wait for next year! 🎶🎺🐦

You know, just checking off boxes on the “life experiences” list with good friends. @toriamos and Nola treated us well.

The kids loved the interactive energy of Lady Chops! The kids rocked out and participated in various musicals!

Watch Lady Chops rock out with the kids in the posts shared here.

Two of the best musicians and human beings on the planet right here! I wouldn’t trade these two for a couple shiny pennies!

Thank you to all the artists and everyone involved in making the Ruston Art Ramble happen. It was an honor to be a part of it!

Bonfires, friends, pine trees, s’mores… I swear it’s the answer to all life’s problems.

City #29 - St. Louis, MO - What a privelege it was to play the @foxtheatrestl again. I played here on my first @stompnyc tour in 2002 and couldn't believe it then and feel the same way now. Still have the 2002 cast signatures on a dressing room door. A great weekend of shows and amazing crowds!
