Teddington lock taken on my early morning bike ride this morning. Just on the edge of London but looks (and feels) as though it could be in the heart of the countryside. I am so fortunate to live in this beautiful part of the world.

Detail of the staircase inside the Tan Boon Liat Building in Singapore. Looking at the railing I had assumed Tan Boon Liat was built in the 1930’s but apparently it is from the 1970’s. Regardless, I love the detail and the contrast between the bright blue and yellow.

I got very excited when I heard about this former industrial building in Singapore which is now largely full of Interior Design shops and home wares. Fifteen floors of it. Sadly, most of them were shut when I was there. As much as anything though, I loved the staircase and building itself @tanboonliat

So I’ve been waiting so long to find the perfect image to launch this instagram account and I finally found it today at the National Gallery Singapore. Clearly, this is tongue in cheek (regarding my work) but I thought it was a clever way to apologise for any disruption to visitors to the gallery. Incidentally, if you are in Singapore I encourage you to visit this gallery. The exhibits are fabulous and the buildings that house them are fantastic.

You know you’re in Australia when you see .... a giant prawn by the side of the road (in Ballina NSW) or a giant banana (in Coffs Harbour NSW). No, I don’t know why it’s a thing either but it is. In Tamworth they have the big guitar, in Goulburn the big sheep and in Tully the big wellington boot (it rains a lot). Then people like me come along and take photos. Do they do this in other parts of the world too?

Early morning beach walk in South West Rocks, NSW capped off by seeing dolphins just off shore. It doesn’t get much better than this. .
