Last week we hosted ANCiENT GROWTH, an intimate immersion in the redwoods of Mendocino for four days, that invited our guests to return to our roots and explore our connection to Mother Earth, ourselves and our ancestors. We dove into the depths of our inner gardens through tea, movement, sound, creative practice, self care and adventure. This marked the first of many multi day retreats between @rituellife and @palmacolectiva, captured here by @tracy_kristine. Thank you to the incredible group of women who joined us and to @giulianamottin and @ikarencardoso for their nourishment. A huge thank-you to the support and gifting of: @rozhair @self_lovetea @koalaeco @thefloralsociety @seanceworld

Our next event is coming up 🌀 Sunday, Feb 09 at 4:30 PM. Taking place at Scalehouse Gallery. Join us as we have a collective dropping in to ourselves. Guided by Sara Murphy, we will begin with a releasing of all the day, week, month, year, has brought. Followed by breath work, grounded body work focusing on rooting down into ourselves, and ending with a mindful writing practice where we can flow from the pen onto paper. Ending the evening with nourishing bites + hot tea. Take home a teacup, journal and pen provided by us to continue a practice that teaches us to embrace stillness in a culture that demands us to always be moving quickly. DM us to reserve your spot. $15-20 per guest ✨ Venmo Katelyn-Kolb or Elise-Furgurson

Neutrals don’t need to shout to make an impact—sometimes it’s the understated elements that draw you in. For this guest bathroom, we chose a sandy-toned textured tile that adds depth without overpowering. Black and brass fixtures offer contrast, while white oak shelves introduce a gentle warmth. These thoughtful details come together to create a space that feels layered and refined, with each element revealing its charm the closer you get. Do you have psychological autonomy (the feeling of being in control of your life)? Here are two small, sneakily simple questions to help you regain it... Save this post so you don’t forget! - What are your wins? ⚡ - What are your decisions? ⚡ When I meet with my clients, the temptation is to dive right into “What’s new? What’s next?” because both myself and my clients are wired to solve problems and move fast. But before we get there, I, without fail, ask these two questions (just ask my clients!). Why? Because these two things lay the groundwork for everything else. Reflecting on wins (no matter how small) gives you that much-needed dopamine hit—yes, like a little pat on the back from your brain. 🧠 And acknowledging your decisions? That’s a way to codify your learnings (especially the ones that matter most to you and YOUR next steps), and remind yourself you’re in charge of your life, even when it feels like chaos.  Let’s be real: most of us are moving at breakneck speed, chasing the elusive “next level,” without stopping to appreciate the progress we’ve made. But here’s the thing: it’s those tiny, seemingly insignificant wins and small, intentional decisions that keep you moving forward in a direction that YOU are excited about (no more waking up wondering “whose life is this?!”). Because we are social creatures, it can be VERY difficult to keep a hold of what we are distinctly learning from our environment and ourselves vs. what others might be learning or prioritizing. So, here’s a little challenge for you: each day, for the next 7 days, take a second to note *one win* and *one decision*, no matter how small. By the end of the week, you’ll have a neat little list of 7 wins and 7 decisions. And surprise, surprise—progress, and psychological autonomy, will feel a lot more real.  Remember: you don’t need to be making giant leaps to feel like you’re moving forward. Small wins, smart decisions—that’s where the magic happens. 💫 Your coach, Julia 📸 @zeewendell styling @laruemodern 💋 @kate_hana_artistry #GrowthMindset #ProgressIsProgress #SmallWins #LeadershipDevelopment #PsychologicalAutonomy #CoachingLife

We’re in the middle of designing a bathroom and I realized I haven’t shared THIS bathroom! This might be one of my favorites of all time. The moodiness of the tile, the smooth lines, the buttery white oak on the vanity - even the floating / wall mounted toilet makes this bathroom sing for me! Here are some of the things we did: - We designed a single level vanity to make it make sense - Expanded the shower entrance to make it feel less cavernous - reduce the number of shower heads because if you’re not using all of them, you don’t need them! - Added a shower bench with a niche because ladies love to have a place to rest their legs while they’re shaving and then a place for that razor to live - And most importantly, we chose materials and designed layouts for those materials that would bring flare but blend seamlessly with the rest of our clients’ home When I tell you that I gasped, almost cried and got a squeaky voice when I walked into this bathroom when all the tile was installed, I’m telling you the truth. The GC and I had a good laugh about it! Swipe to see before pictures and the floor plan then let us know your favorite thing about it in the comments 🎈 GC: RC Carter Construction Cabinets: @claysonwoodworksllc Interior Design: Heylen Thienes x Tricorn Black @tricorn_black Design Assistant: Taylor Cox Photos & Styling: @zeewendell & @sara_murphy6 - #designstories #bendoregon #thisisbend #centraloregon #bendhomes #bendinteriordesign #oregoninteriordesign #mountainmodern #bathroomdesign #fireclaytile
