The story of L O S T / F O U N D
Growing up, Saturday mornings were spent with mom, hunting through Goodwill racks and garage sales for the best finds for the best price. Whenever someone asked about my outfit, I’d say, “Idk, my mom got it for me.” Even though I knew exactly where it came from, I was too embarrassed to admit it was second-hand. When I got older, my perspective complelty flipped. I realized it’s actually such a flex to be the best-dressed person in the room with second hand clothes, while saving money and keeping good clothes out of landfills. Thrifting was never just shopping to me, it was a creative outlet and a huge part of my life. When I brought up the idea to Farid (the love of my life and now best business partner) he didn’t hesitate to say “Why don’t we just do it? Let’s make it happen. Whatever you need, I got you.” And that was the birth of L O S T / F O U N D. We built this space by combining what we both do best, my love for vintage fashion and styling, with Farid’s obsession with logistics that make it run smoothly. Every single piece we list is something we genuinely care about. (Shoutout to our brother @kodakzzack for a lot of the inventory we have on deck from our years of thrifting and for being the best sourcing partner.) When you shop with us, you’re not just buying clothes, you’re supporting a shared passion. We hope you feel the thought and love behind every single drop. Thank you all for being here with us from the start. We hope you find something you didn’t know you were looking for.
