ROLLBACK PROGRESSION 📈

Emphasis:
-Explosive change of direction (COD)
-Separation from defender (crossover step)
-Quick release out of the roll (eyes & stick around)

🤝 Shoutout @brookbvlax Senior and @unionmlax commit @wcrowtherjr for dialing-in this progression!

📝 Here we break it down into 3 drills:

🔹First we work on our roll exit into the shot. Taking the “roll” portion out of the drill, here we work on punching our hands away from pressure into a shot ready position out of the roll

🔹 Next we focus our final two steps into the roll to get comfortable with the “hockey stop” portion of the roll. Here we emphasize putting more weight on our inside foot (dominant hand foot) creating a lean in the direction we want to dodge and eventually shoot!

🔹Lastly we put it all together, carrying 4-5 yards into the roll so we can work on our acceleration into the change of direction while also leaving room for pump fakes and hesitations leading into our COD!

💪This is a great progression for any player looking to improve their rollbacks this offseason
