The act of creating is different for everyone—sometimes it’s learned, sometimes it’s studied, sometimes it’s natural—for Lauren, it’s familial. I recently got to spend the afternoon filming Lauren in her studio, where we chatted about the ceramics process and how she learned to love clay from her grandmother. In the video you’ll hear Lauren’s mom Carole, who shared about what it’s like to see Lauren follow in her own mother’s footsteps.
