Last round of the day, final day-week 1, with one of my all-time favorite partners @theleglessleglocker The first time we ever rolled, I took it easy on him, & he tapped me out twice. Never took it easy on him again! 💯 Loll. But seriously, Michael is an inspiring figure. His game encapsulates the essence of jiujitsu.. in that jiujitsu can be extremely effective for every single body type, every single shape & size. And my guy is truly nasty with it. He can catch & submit almost anyone he encounters regardless of skill level, wins consistently in competition, & is more generally just a skilled beast of a man. A true dawg (the highest compliment we can give in jiujitsu), on top of being an awesome and genuine guy. Funny and down to earth, trains hard. I love everything about him. He’s been bumping into me at open mats for years, and all we do when we see each other is scrap like crazy, and follow it with a couple hugs and a lot of laughs. Then we talk about what we’re working on that week. He often picks my brain, & I’m always very happy to help someone so dedicated to his craft. Very few people I enjoy being in the room with like I do with this fella. Always a genuine pleasure every time we get a chance to get after it.

LFG! Everyone help me congratulate my boy legless mike on his purple belt. Well deserved brother! Proud of you bro. Incase you didn't know Mike is a beast and extremely strong. The first time we rolled he took one of his nubs and choked me out with it lol.
