January 2017, at 23 years old I moved to Chicago not knowing how much this city would change me. Fast forward to today, at the age of 32, I couldn’t be more thankful.

Over the last almost 10 years I found myself, I found the most incredible people, made the absolute best memories, and I made a life for myself. But more than anything, the humans I met along the way made this place what it became for me.

The friendships, the memories, the extremely difficult and heartbreaking times, the wins, the loses, and the best of friends who showed up for me through every version of myself over the years.. I’ll forever cherish all of it.

Chicago gave me exactly what I needed..and as I begin to settle back in St. Louis, I keep thinking about how grateful I am for this chapter and every single person who was part of it.

I will miss you all. I 🤍 you, Chicago!!
