LIGHT NIGHT IS BACK NEXT WEEK ✨

One of our favourite nights in the Leeds calendar is nearly here! 🙌

Light Night Leeds returns next Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th October, with more than 40 artworks and light installations spread across 8 different zones around the city centre. This year’s theme is “A City Speaks…”, tying into Leeds 400 and celebrating the people, places and stories that have shaped the city.

Expect huge projections, immersive installations, performances and plenty of familiar Leeds landmarks looking completely different after dark. 👀✨

It runs 6pm–9.30pm on both nights and, as always, it’s completely FREE.

You can already find the full programme and a few sneak peeks of this year’s installations on the Light Night Leeds website.

Who’s heading into town for it? 👇

📍@fleurrestaurants

You know we love a good bottomless brunch but how about bottomless dinner? Fleur Restaurant is serving up bottomless drinks for 90 minutes all the way from lunchtime upto 8pm. There are the classic brunch favorites available or you can choose from a selection of heartier dinner plates like pasta and burgers. Drinks wise choose from a selection of cocktails, lager and prosecco to enjoy in the beautiful pink setting.

If you are a cocktail lover then definitely head straight to the frozen ones, they pack more of a punch! Prosecco is always a winning option and bottles of Peroni is a solid option for the beer option.

Foodwise the portion sizes are decent for a bottomless and we both opted for pasta. Brett went for the Crispy Chicken Pasta, which was linguine pasta tossed in a cheese sauce, broccoli, grated mature cheddar and crispy chicken. You definitely cant go wrong with cheesy pasta to soak up all of the drinks and the breaded chicken was nice too! I went for the King Prawn Linguine tossed in slow-cooked Romana tomato sauce, jalapeños, king prawns and courgette. The prawns were nicely seasoned in peppercorn and the sauce was really flavourful

Located in the heart of Leeds City Centre, Fleur is a great spot for a catch-up with friends, birthday, date night or a pre-event meal. And with Christmas coming up, they are also a great option for Christmas bookings and festive celebrations!
