Well well well.... Seems only fitting we should close this account out pretty much the way it began... With @fusion.australia and my dear friend @ashmatkovic 🥰

Ash celebrated 10 years in business last Friday and I was honoured to briefly speak about my business journey. I wasn't overly prepared, I like to wing these things, but from the conversations I had on the night after, my point was definitely made.

I have built a business, actually 2, to provide my kids with an exceptional life. Somewhere along the way the momentum of it all got away from me and my purpose became a little muddy. I encouraged all the women in the room to check in regularly and ensure that they are measuring success by their own yard stick and not that of others they see online. For me - I will never find anything more important to do with the time I have than raise good humans, and from now on that's exactly what I intend to do. Thank you @ashmatkovic for always letting me share my truth and I'm glad that it resonated with so many in the room.

So - if you're still reading along, from now on Makeup is on @theliplabperth my team will help you with anything you need 💄

I'll be over at @lifeaftermakeup_ 😜 but we all know I hate social media so probs don't count on regular life updates 😂

If you want to see what will be filling my cup on the daily @littlegingers_dance because I am just a big ol' #dancemum at ❤️

Whether you've been here for 10 yrs or 10 minutes, thank you for the love you've shown me and my small business, grateful is an understatement 💋

What a night ✨🥂

Still on such a high from the Fusion Women’s Networking Cocktail Party last night.

An incredible room filled with inspiring women, amazing conversations, new connections and some beautiful new friendships that I know will go well beyond one night. 🤍

The venue was stunning, the cocktails were flowing, the food was sensational and the vibe was everything. ✨

There’s something so special about women coming together, supporting each other, sharing their stories and genuinely wanting to see one another succeed.

So grateful to have been part of such an amazing night. Here’s to new connections, new friendships and exciting things ahead. 🥂✨

One of my favourite things to do is invest in experiences ✨

Experiences that create memories, spark new conversations, introduce you to incredible people, and leave you with something far more valuable than anything money can buy 💡

Just like @thelifestylephotographer’s empowering Lipstick & Legacy event 💄✨ and 3 weeks on, it is still leaving just as much impact ❤️🥹

A Friday night spent making memories with my mum, surrounded by inspiring, like-minded women, and reminded that we all have more power than we sometimes realise.

The power to choose.
The power to change direction.
The power to create a life that feels aligned with who we are.

Because long after the lipstick fades, the memories, lessons, and connections remain.

And those are always worth investing in. ❤️ thank you @thelifestylephodographer and @theliplabperth 🫶🏼

It’s often the smallest things that create the biggest shifts.

I didn’t put on this lipstick because I wanted to wear lipstick.

I put it on because I needed a reminder ✨

A reminder to stand a little taller.
To feel a little more confident.
To reconnect with myself at the start of the day.

And it wasn’t really the lipstick that did that.

It was what it represented.

This custom shade was created at an empowerment event last month at the @theliplabperth , hosted by the beautiful Ana @thelifestylephodographer . An event I almost didn’t attend.

I bought my ticket the night before.

A last-minute decision that reminded me that not all late decisions are rushed decisions.

Sometimes when something feels right, aligned, and meant for you, that’s because it is.

Just because something is planned doesn’t mean it’s perfect.
And just because something is spontaneous doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

That evening reinforced the importance of trusting my instincts, saying yes to opportunities that feel aligned, and as a bonus, spending precious time with my mum ❤️

Funny how a lipstick can hold so much more than colour. And if I anyone was wondering, I called my lipstick ‘Galaxy’ 👑✨

Cover photo credit: @thelifestylephodographer | Thank you Ana, not just for this incredible photo, but the reminder of letting go. For inviting me to be little bit free, a little bit wild and to live a moment that wasn’t perfect, but real ❤️📸

I was never going to enter a pageant…. until I did ✨

And what became the most significant part of my journey wasn’t the 9 months of preparation, it was the 10 years of growth beforehand 👌 that I couldn’t see

Whatever it is that’s calling you, challenge your own beliefs.

The hardest person you’ll ever have to convince is yourself.

And once you do, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

Everyone has a journey worth sharing and if mine can inspire any part of yours today, I hope it does 💜✨🎉

This wasn’t a room of women needing to be fixed, it was a room of women owning their presence. 💫

Not perform.
Not prove.
Not hold everything together for everyone else.
To just be.

At Lipstick & Legacy, before I photographed each woman, I asked them to look into the mirror and write down one word for what they saw staring back at them.

After their portrait, I asked them to write down the word they felt.

And honestly… the answers gave me goosebumps.

“Beautiful” “Free” “Empowered” “Connected” “Gorgeous” “Grateful” “Proud” “Confident” “Happy” 🙌🏻

Because somewhere between the mirror, the lipstick, the laughter, the nerves, the camera, my craziness 😂, and the moment they allowed themselves to be seen … something shifted.

This night was never just about lipstick. 💄

And it was never just about a photograph. 📸

It was about creating a room where women could feel witnessed, celebrated, and reminded that they are still here beneath all the roles they carry.

I am so proud of this evening.
Proud of the women who came.
Proud of the stories they shared.
Proud of the way they showed up and left with the biggest smile on their faces AND a full heart. ❤️

These portraits are more than images to me.

They are proof of what happens when a woman is given a moment to see herself in her own strength . And I’m so here for that 🙌🏻

Let me know if you think I should put on another Lipstick and Legacy Evening. 📸

It’s been a week… and I’m still thinking about this night and the women in that room. ✨

Successful women.
Brilliant women.
Women carrying businesses, families, pressure, expectations… and still showing up with grace every single day.

And yet what struck me most that night was this…
Even the strongest women need spaces where they don’t have to perform.

Lipstick & Legacy became so much more than an event.

It became a pause.
A breath.
A reminder that behind every polished exterior is a woman who also wants connection, softness, laughter, depth… and to feel truly seen.

We spoke about life. About growth. About identity.
About the versions of ourselves we’ve had to become to survive… and the versions we’re still becoming.

There was something incredibly powerful about watching high-achieving women sit around together with no agenda except presence.

No competition.
No pretending.
No pressure to have it all together.
Just honesty.

And maybe that’s why the room felt electric.
Between creating custom lipsticks, drawing affirmation cards that somehow felt written for each woman personally, and stepping in front of my camera…
something shifted.

You could feel women softening.
Opening.
Remembering themselves again.

And the portraits we created afterwards?
They hit differently.
Because confidence looks different when a woman feels safe enough to exhale.

We ran overtime.
and Nobody wanted to leave. 😂
Conversations lingered.
Phones stayed away.
The energy stayed high.

And I think that’s the kind of luxury women are craving now.

Not louder rooms or bigger events.
Meaningful ones.
And this felt like the beginning of something very special. ✨

More to come. I still have some stunning portraits to show you.

Same model, same makeup... Different lighting ☀️

I didn't change a thing between taking these videos yet the light in one makes the makeup look super glowy (which of course it was😜) and more matte in the other. Something to think about when looking through the endless inspo online.
