These personal milestones may not seem like alot for some, but for ME?!? Its more than I could ask for.. And for everyone that has supported me w. the Vine & Leaf, my performances, my music ie.solo or features.. it does NOT go overlooked, unnoticed, unappreciated. Not in the least bit. None of these milestones would be possible without every ounce of that support, to which I am forever grateful.
Thank You my beautiful po9kies, for holding it down.
Real ones you are.

Back Story:

As some of you may or may not know, in 2016 I started the world's first wine & wɛ3đ concert series, the Vine & Leaf sessions.
A live show where I came together with all my astronomically talented friends, popped up in diff secret locations all over LA, and did aaall my favorite things, in one space!

It was the first of its kind, so naturally, it blew up.

& might I say, 👏🏾it 👏🏾was 👏🏾a 👏🏾m👏🏾f 👏🏾era!! IYKYK 🍂
Shout out to all my day ones still here from those days 🥹

But ofc soon after, the pandemic hit.
So, I adjusted.

I decided to go the TV route, and live stream the show instead. However in the end, I only ended up doing two episodes 🥲. But in doing so, I got a chance to feature an incredible artist very close to my heart.. and im glad I was able to do it in a way that I felt let her shine, exactly how I see her..

Raw. Ancestral. Soulfilled.

I believe this song was just freshly out of the writing stages when we filmed this and I became enamored with the track. Fast forward a couple years and im so proud to say that the time has finally come, and Calma has been released under her 1st EP entitled "Exhala vol. 1" streaming on all platforms ahora!

And to be clear, I am not on the actual song.
This was a 1 of 1 performance.
Pero if you are a lover of good live music, Latin sounds and good story telling, por favor give your ears a treat y go support this lovely work of Arté ✨️🙏🏾

A fun collab with @bradleysgordon @tedgainey featuring @roneemartin on guest vocals, the late, great @chazmeau on keys, Slade Lewis on bass, @linda.honeycutt1 on background vox, @markrudin on horns, with myself on lead vocals and guitar, Ted on drums, and Gordo (Bradley) on percussion. Mixed at @thelipstudio with tracking done at @_thegordongallery_ , Chalmers’, The LIP, @fluxrecordingllc and at Mark’s. Give it a listen, pretty please! https://open.spotify.com/track/2Nupd92xv6ablMnJGrqrgB?si=oCRW7jd4RH-Ngqxfojwjzw&utm_source=copy-link
