We walked for 30-Days!
We came out at exactly 5:30pm!
We walked for 30 minutes each day!
We had over 30 volunteers who showed up at different times and days!
We reached out to residents, drivers, motorist across the city!
We spoke to a few homeless youths on the street!
We met a homeless person who donated $20 to reduce this same problem they are facing!
We had the support of 2 city councilors and 1 provincial minister!

We are grateful for God's grace and strength!

Thank you to everyone who donated their cash, time, and resources!

Together, we can!

Every night in Edmonton, hundreds of youth have no place to call home. It’s time to step up and walk for real change. 💛

Join us for the Youth Homelessness Awareness Walk, founded by LIVE Initiative and supported by our City Councillor and the Minister of Mental Health and Addiction.

While frontline organizations stretch every dollar, an estimated $130 million in public funds goes toward provincial referendum costs and $25,000 application fees for citizen petitions.

That money could directly support youth by funding:
* 🏠 Safe Beds: Expanded emergency shelter and transitional housing.
* 🧠 Mental Health: On-the-ground youth counselors and addiction recovery support.
* 🍲 Prevention: Hot meals, crisis intervention, and job training programs.

Every dollar spent on bureaucracy is a missed chance to save a life. Let’s show up, stand together, and demand smarter investments in our community.

📍 Location: Edmonton, AB
👟 Bring: Walking shoes, signs, and a voice for change!
