Autumn mornings, lakeside coffee, and a little peace for the soul. 🍂☕🏕️ Sometimes, the best moments are the quietest. 🤎

This is definitely the time my favorite time of year. I nest, clean, make all the cozy meals like soup and grilled cheese, and pull my sweaters out of their summer hiding spot.

But even though I do that at home, my absolute favorite is a fall adventure with good friends.

There’s something about being on the water that makes everything slow down. Whether you’re kayaking, canoeing or paddleboarding, paddle sports are a simple way to move, explore and connect with nature. 🛶💧

Il y a quelque chose de spécial à être sur l’eau : tout semble ralentir. Que ce soit en kayak, en canot ou en planche à pagaie, les sports de pagaie sont une belle façon de bouger, d’explorer et de profiter de la nature. 🛶💧

A long-distance canoe trip through the Canadian Rockies 🛶🏔️🇨🇦 Chased by thunderstorms, forgotten food, paddled forever, found the end of a rainbow 🌈, and somehow ended up in paradise.

The reward? Waking up to a pristine blue lake surrounded by epic mountain views? Absolutely unreal. 💙✨

10/10 Canadian adventure!

WE DID IT!

Ron’s incredible tandem ride from Saskatoon to Waskesiu raised a total of $3,138.26 for the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre and the Prince Albert Food Bank!

The best part of trips, is the unedited, fun, crazy parts that happenduring the trip, in my opinion.

Leaves the best kind of memories.

HE DID IT! 🚲❤️

Ron made it to Waskesiu!

What an incredible display of determination — 230 kilometres from Saskatoon to Waskesiu, completely blind, all to raise money for the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre and the Prince Albert Food Bank.

Ron is truly an inspiration!

An extra special way to arrive at the finish line was meeting Bruce Kemp, the original founder of Bruce’s Cycle in Saskatoon. The store and current owners have generously supported Ron along the way throughout this incredible ride.

Ron couldn’t have done this without so many people behind him.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see Ron off, everyone who rode alongside him, everyone who donated, and all of the organizations and media who helped share his story — thank you to @brucescycleworks, @thomegaent, @mattz, Teale, @thelostgirlsguide, Aaron, Miles and Greg, CBC, C95, and CTV.

And a huge thank you to Rob Howse and Nancy Howse, Ron’s lead pilot and support vehicle, who were there with him every kilometre of the way. This adventure truly wouldn’t have been possible without you both. ❤️

Day 2 is underway!

Ron and Rob are on the road this morning with Nancy following in the support car, making their way from Prince Albert toward the Hawood in Waskesiu to finish the ride.

Ron is feeling great, with lots of energy and is excited to get back on the road for the final stretch!

The group is taking the scenic route and is hoping to arrive between 2 and 3PM.

**If you’re in Prince Albert National Park today, keep an eye out for them, give them a cheer as they roll in. Ron would love it if you came up and said hi!*

If you’d like to support Ron’s ride, please consider donating!

Let’s get Ron to Waskesiu! 💪🚲e
