Georgia’s always on my mind. 💕

I just got back from a solo trip to Savannah — one of my favorite places in the U.S. and one I always recommend to new solo travelers.

It’s so walkable, beautiful, and full of history. You can easily spend an entire day just wandering around the squares, popping into shops and museums, finding a good restaurant (and maybe taking advantage of the open-container areas 🤷🏻‍♀️🤗🙃), and just enjoying the city.

And the people are some of the nicest I’ve encountered. There’s something about that Southern hospitality that makes Savannah feel especially welcoming when I’m traveling alone.

Maybe that’s why Savannah is always in my Zillow alerts and my heart. 😂 There’s just something about this city. It’s the kind of place where being alone never really feels lonely. 💕

Have you visited Savannah?

Spent a sweet time in #savannahgeorgia for our anniversary trip in the SE! We Stayed at @thealidahotel and enjoyed a cold beer @thelostsquare_
We ate @thegreysavannah for our first meal and it was a great start to the trip. Incredible food in an aesthetic environment lovers’ dream. We ate breakfast at @sixbysavannah and were rocked by the custardy, airy eggs in their biscuit sandwich. The stand out meal for us was @lateairwine where there was not a bad bite on the table and their local oysters were divine.
We toured around some of the beautiful streets with @oldtowntrolley and loved the architecture and history! Loved Savannah!

SAVANNAH GEORGIA || Rooftop Guide ✨🍑🥂

I may be a little partial, but Savannah has some of the best rooftops downtown with some incredible views of the city! I especially love showing them off when friends are in town! ☺️And I’m just patiently waiting for fall so I can sit on top of a rooftop and not sweat in the 100+ temperatures we’ve been having in coastal Georgia this month!
