POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Most people see someone holding a camera 📸

I see the moment a founder’s story becomes something people remember.

I was thinking about the lighting. The styling. The composition. Her body language. How she was communicating her message. And how we could capture her in a way that felt natural, credible, and engaging.

That’s how I approach every shoot.

I’m paying attention to the details, your energy, your voice, your story, the framing, the environment, and how every piece of content can support a bigger marketing strategy.

That’s what we create at The LWM Studio: content with intention, strategy, and storytelling behind every frame.

If you’re a founder with a story worth telling, let’s make sure people remember it🤳

Sponsor Spotlight | MNP

Access changes everything.

In this sponsor spotlight, Tamika Mitchell MNP shares why supporting the K4 Black Innovation Alliance (K4BIA) SUMMER SUMMIT matters: Black founders need more than visibility. They need stronger pathways to capital, advisory support, and investor relationships that can help them scale.

As one of Canada’s leading accounting, tax, and business consulting firms, MNP is helping bridge that gap by standing with the founders entering this capital pipeline.

Join us at the inaugural K4BIA Summer Summit, hosted by Keiretsu Forum Canada and Narro Ventures.

This isn't just another pitch event. It's the beginning of a stronger capital pipeline connecting investors with high-potential Black founders building the next generation of innovation.

Everyone wants access to capital.

Few prepare for it properly.

At the @bfncommunity Power of Community event, the underlying theme wasn’t hustle; it was positioning.

Positioning to acquire instead of always start.
Positioning to pivot instead of persist blindly.
Positioning to win when markets shift.

The founders who thrive in uncertain environments aren’t reacting in real time.
They’ve already mapped their bottlenecks.
They’ve already cleaned up their structure.
They’ve already pressure-tested sustainability.

Community doesn’t eliminate risk.
It shortens the learning curve.

And in private markets, preparation compounds.

At Narro, we believe opportunity favours the ready, not just the ambitious.

On International Women’s Day, we’re spotlighting a founder who turned isolation into infrastructure.

We met Rita at the Black Founders Network’s Power of Community event: where she shared what inspired her to build @gatherus_app

She struggled to find her people at university. So she built the solution she wished existed.

That’s what powerful entrepreneurship looks like.

Not trends.
Not noise.
But lived experience transformed into impact.

Community isn’t soft.
It’s structural.
It shapes belonging, confidence, and long-term outcomes.

Today we celebrate women who don’t just talk about change, they build it💫

When most people hear “investing,” they think portfolios. But long-term builders like William think in compounding.

Capital is one form.
But so is discipline.
So is proximity.
So is skill acquisition.
So is the circle you choose to grow with.

Every serious founder understands this:
You can’t expect financial returns if you haven’t invested in capacity first.

Markets reward leverage.
And leverage starts with self-development, relationships, and clarity.

Before capital compounds, character does.

Boldness is more than confidence.
It’s follow-up.
It’s asking the second question.
It’s sending the email after the event.
It’s turning inspiration into infrastructure.

At BFN’s Power of Community, the energy in the room was powerful: but the real opportunity lives in what happens after you leave.
The rooms you enter matter.
But what you build from them matters more.

Community isn’t passive.
It rewards participation.

Not all fundraising starts with venture capital.
Sometimes it starts with a room.
A panel.
A five-minute pitch.
Pitch competitions are often overlooked but for early-stage founders, they can be powerful leverage.
Non-dilutive capital.
Market validation.
Exposure.
Confidence under pressure.
And when used strategically?

Small wins compound.

We spoke with @aybello_ about his fundraising journey and he shared how he made it happen💫

What stood out wasn’t just the prize money: it was how it was deployed. Marketing. Expansion. A second location.

Capital is most powerful when it’s activated with intention.
There isn’t one way to fund a vision.
There’s the way that works at your stage.

She’s not just building a company, she’s transforming an industry🚀

Wintta, founder of MoonTrades, is using real-time data and geospatial intelligence to rethink how critical minerals are discovered for the clean energy future.

Big vision needs the right capital to scale.

At Narro, we connect founders with aligned investors who understand their market and momentum.

Building something ambitious?
Start matching with the right investors.

“Narro was born out of frustration — not just ours, but that of countless founders.”

After a 4-hour conversation with an investor who had no interest in investing, Winston realized something bigger was broken.

Too many founders are being overlooked not because their ideas lack merit, but because they lack: visibility, credibility, and access.

That moment sparked a mission: to build an ecosystem where readiness meets opportunity, and founders finally get seen.

Because great companies shouldn’t fail due to gatekeeping they should thrive because of connection⚡️
