Take the unconventional route + don’t be scared to question the norms 🤸🏽‍♀️

1. You don’t need a treadmill, elliptical, or stairmaster to get your cardio in. Walking to get groceries, chasing your kids at the park, biking to the beach, or dancing with your friends all count. Movement can be part of your life, not just another task on your workout list.

2. Your Apple Watch or readiness score can offer useful information, but it doesn’t know everything. Pay attention to your energy, sleep, stress, soreness, and how you actually feel.

3. Twenty minutes of intentional movement can be enough to build consistency, improve your mood, and get stronger over time. Stop waiting for the perfect window.

4. How you feel in your body, how your clothes fit, the weight you can lift, your energy, and how you move all matter, too. Your progress is bigger than a number.

5. Protein matters, especially when building muscle, but so do the micronutrients that support your body. Vitamins, minerals, fiber, and the quality and variety of your food matter, too. You can hit your protein target and still have a diet that lacks what your body needs.

6. Strength training isn’t about leaving the gym completely depleted. It’s about applying the right stimulus, maintaining good form, and recovering well enough to do it again. Sometimes the smartest session is the one where you leave feeling better than when you arrived.

7. Your body, sleep, stress, hormones, and responsibilities change. Your training can change with them. Some seasons call for progressive overload and pushing your limits; others call for rebuilding, maintaining, or simply showing up
