And that’s a wrap on two weekends of Erdinger Oktoberfest at Lau Pa Sat! 🍻✨

From the music and games to the food, laughter, and festive atmosphere — it was great seeing everyone come down and celebrate together.

Even more special having some of my friends come by to show their support. 🫶

Always love seeing Lau Pa Sat come alive like this, with people from all walks of life coming together, having a good time, and enjoying the festivities.

Thank you to everyone who came by, joined in, and made these two weekends such a memorable one.

Until the next celebration! 🍻🎉

My soundcheck process at Erdinger's Oktoberfest 2026 at Lau Pa Sat.

Performance Details:
25th and 26th September 2026 at Food Folks, Lau Pa Sat.
7.30pm and 9.15pm

It was a warm and humid place to perform at so I needed to make sure that our soundcheck process can be sped up.

Knowing what I want is super important here and that knowledge comes naturally after having played with my band, The Mad Trio, for many years.

At the same time, understanding how plugins can alter the sound in my ears is also beneficial because I can really hear every little changes in my sound when the changes happen. I want to enjoy performing without any worries to my sound and to do that, my IEM mix is really important to how comfortable I feel on stage.

Now that my IEM mix is settled, it's your turn to come and listen to how the Front Of House mix behaves in a venue like that.

See you :)

Almost 15 hours of being outside today.

We start the day with a gig at Republic Polytechnic. I'm very honored to perform for their graduation ceremony this year. It kinda marks a full circle moment for me as I started my gig days while I was still in poly. I hope this inspires more people to pursue what they want in life.

Next up we were engaged to perform for a networking event for Manulife and huge thanks to The Flying Dutchman for having my band perform for your event. Even though we all had a long day, the music we made were great and the responses we had from the crowd motivated us even further as we progressed towards the end of the night.

I'm always very thankful for gigs like this where I can get to play with people I love playing with, for clients who trusts us completely and I get to inspire more people to play music. It's quite wholesome.

I hope to get to play for more gigs like this.

Happy Birthday to #khimng who started off as a contestant for the inaugural season of #campussuperstar back in early 2006. She later participated in the inaugural season of #thefinal1sg , being the very first of the Top 40 to perform, but did not advance to the Top 20. She formed #themadtrio serving as the lead vocalist. I was delighted to finally get a photo with her at TGIF Music Station (Campus Superstar edition) in March this year!
Other facta about Khim...
💙 She shares a birthday with Final 1 season 1 winner Farisha Ishak.
💙 She was born in the year that Nanyang Polytechnic, ITE, SCV and National Council of Social Services were established.
💙 She's the same age with Grace Teo, Aden Tan, Ferlyn G, JoeyPink Lai, Chan Ning, Natalie Chua, Shigga Shay, Julie Tan, Loh Ling Ying, Stella Seah, Germaine Ng, Ming Bridges, Denise Camillia, and Estelle Fly.

how my soundcheck went at @artbox_singapore with my band, @themadtriosg

We only had less than 30 minutes to soundcheck our band as we took over the stage from the previous band so working with an experienced engineer really helped us a lot.

The stereo IEM mix that I got was perfect. Thank you to the good engineers from @liveproductionssg ! Such nice people to work with, I enjoyed myself.

Thank you @gclivemusicsg for having us once again.

I'm using
FatFreq BabyFreq IEMs
Yamaha SLG200S Guitar
LR Baggs Venue DI
Boss OC-5

Looking forward to performing here again!
