UGK 👑 | UGK 4: Metamorphosis— Main Event:
Mark Rongavilla (DBF ) versus Arvin Chan (One Alabang Fitness & Martial Arts Academy)

Two men will step into the spotlight for the main event of Underground Grappling Kings 4: Metamorphosis. Beyond the titles, stats, and fighting styles, this match is a testament to dedication, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of mastery.

Mark Rongavilla (Deftac BF), an ASJJF Dumau Manila champion and a lifelong multi-sport athlete, brings a dynamic mid-range grappling game characterized by powerful attacks and a balanced top-and-bottom control.

The journey to the mats is rarely a straight line, but for Mark Rongavilla, it is a lifelong tapestry woven from dedication, movement, and an unwavering athletic spirit.

Facing him is Arvin “Asintado” Chan (One Fitness Alabang), a legendary figure in Philippine combat sports whose deep roots in freestyle, MMA and catch wrestling bring relentless pressure, heavy experience, and a sharp counter-grappling strategy.

When Arvin steps onto the canvas this September 12 at UGK 4: Metamorphosis, he brings far more than his legendary status. He carries the weight of decades of combat experience, the sharp mind of an old-school technician, and the stoic heart of a devoted father proving that time only sharpens a true warrior’s edge.

Yet, what makes this Masters’ NoGi matchup compelling goes far beyond technical execution.

Outside the mats, both competitors are devoted fathers and driven businessmen. They juggle the daily demands of family life, career pressures, and personal obligations—yet despite life happening around them, they consistently carve out time to hone their craft, strengthen their minds, and invest in their physical and spiritual growth.

Their clash inside the UGK mats represents a clash of two distinct grappling philosophies forged through years of discipline.

UGK 👑 | UGK 4: Metamorphosis first featured fight — Ivan Alonzo (Deftac BF) VS Mike Sayson (One Fitness Alabang)

By Day, They Hold the Line. On the Mats, They Test Their Limits. 🥋🔥

In a world that constantly tells us to pick a single path, Ivan Alonzo and Mike Sayson prove you can conquer more than one realm.

Ivan spends his days in the operating room. As a surgeon, his work is defined by high stakes, ultimate precision, and zero margin for error. He carries the weight of massive responsibility every single day—yet when the scrubs come off, he steps onto the mats to chase his passion, refining his craft with the exact same discipline he brings to saving lives.

On the other side stands Mike Sayson. Fully immersed in the fight promotion game, Mike works tirelessly behind the scenes driving the martial arts scene forward. Balancing a full-time professional career in combat sports, he still finds the drive, hours, and energy to push his own body to the absolute limit as a competitor.

This isn’t just a heavyweight bout—it’s a testament to what happens when dedication meets passion.

It proves that no matter how demanding life gets, you don’t have to sacrifice your personal drive. You can be multi-faceted, manage heavy responsibilities, and still step up when it counts.

Don’t miss these two powerhouse professionals collide in a featured NoGi Masters Heavyweight showdown!

📅 Date: September 12, 2026

🔥 UGK 4: METAMORPHOSIS IS HERE! 🔥

Four scraps, & only four will rule the mats!

From seasoned veterans locking horns in the Masters divisions to high-energy rising stars pushing the pace, UGK 4 is guaranteed non-stop action from top to bottom. 🦍

👑 MAIN EVENT: @markironmind vs. @arvinonehitdelete
Deftac BF’s first ever homegrown Champion will test his prowess against a tactical veteran, combat sports household name, and future legend in Arvin “Asintado” Chan.

Expect a high intensity, athletic collision of two proven operators of the game!

💥 CO-MAIN: @j.delavin_ vs. @milano.acosta : two consistent teenagers developing their craft — and might just be the future of Grappling here in the South Metro Manila area.

This should be a high pace, high stakes battles as Milano Acosta tries to up one Deftac BF’s L against the young and explosive JM Delavin last UGK (3).

⚡ FEATURED 1: @dj_ramwil vs. @y_mykel_y
Dumau Manila multiple-time Champion Mike Yasol is back ok the UGK mat. This time against a fellow master competitor in his own right, Ex-Deftac, also a master’s champion himself in Ramwil Salvador of Ronin San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

🤼 FEATURED 2: @ivanalonzomd vs. @themagnificentmike
Dr. Ivan Alonzo: Surgeon by day, and a grinder in the gym by night. Against, a combat sports professional, and one of the greatest minds in the game today: “Magic Mike” Sayson.

This match-up proves that there is life outside of high level combat sports, and that winning is very much achievable when you deck out excuses and keep on your craft and journey.
