HOW I WOULD REIMAGINE THIS ROOM - No. 1 🤎

Starting a new series where I take a room and explore how I would transform it.

Swipe for the before we see a lot in Perth now that I wanted to play with. Send me a photo of your problem room and it might be the next to be redesigned in the series!

I was feeling the brown colour this week so here is a warm dark brown kitchen, reimagined in two ways 🤎

I’ve been exploring how rich brown cabinetry can make a kitchen feel elegantly grounded and earthy. These two kitchen design concepts pair a deeper palette with warm, natural finishes for a look that feels timeless, welcoming and a little French. The contrast between cream and dark brown elevates the top of the room and creates modernity.

This is the kind of kitchen that makes everyday moments feel a bit more unique and editorial: a reminder that a dark kitchen can still feel warm, soft and full of light.

I have added all the smaller details, pieces that can be bought in Australia and that I find look like they bring something to the story and that bit of a collector feeling, to me it reads more cosy and personal.

Which version would you choose: 1 or 2?

The first official Trade Mates ute is here! Designed to be easy to spot on site, it marks an exciting new chapter for the Trade Mates community, and the trades that make it what it is. We’re looking forward to getting out on the road and putting some miles on it over the coming weeks.

Have you spotted it on the road yet?

Big thanks to @themakerdesignerkitchens for the wrap 👌

This stunning renovation by @themakerdesignerkitchens proves that true luxury lives in the details.
The sculptural simplicity of the PITT Cooktop meets the powerful silence of the Whispair Rangehood — creating a kitchen that is as functional as it is beautiful.
