The very best thing about shows is the people. It takes a Craft Village!

The community of crafters is like nothing else. There’s zero competition in these faces, just pure cheerleading & support.
We bring each other snacks, help split change, lend display hooks, share contracts, workshop ideas together.

We are strong because we are together.

And I think our visiting crafters see it too. We create an atmosphere of warmth & fun, we want everyone to have the best time. We’ll send them to neighbouring stands if we think they’ll find something they’ll like better there.

Extra special love to my darlings @wimperisembroidery @thepigeonsnest @the_yarnwhisperer @immybird @penelopejones2016 ❤️

I’m so excited to be taking part in the @tistheseasonfolkestone pop up shop, it’s full of amazing makers from across Kent.

One of the things I love most about being a stitcher is the community.

I’m not just talking about the community you create at social stitch & craft clubs, or the wonderful customers you meet along the way, I’m talking about the other stitch businesses you build friendships with.

There’s a kinship that exists amongst us, we each know the peaks & pitfalls of running a craft business, we’re the first to cheer on each others successes & jump to lend a hand when it’s needed. The pure joy of these friendships is magic.

So when the wonderful Amy aka @hellotreacle.uk asked if I’d take part in a group project, I leapt at the chance.

Swipe to see the amazing makers behind all these beautiful pieces. And a close up of mine.

My hair might be on its fade down from here but this moment, this Summer, is still strong in my mind.

It was my wonderful friend @annemariecd wedding day and it was full of colourful magic.

I’m so glad this picture was taken. It brings old friends & new friends together in pure joy 🥰

Daydreaming about our Lake District holiday, I miss it.

Still we’ve just had some work done in our garden & I’m currently enjoying a cocktail & admiring the work from deckchair 🥰

Hope you’re enjoying your Sunday vibes.
