Nov. 15 – Pat Keck’s Lime Dill Halloween release party

Discover Lime Dill Halloween, the first chapter in a new comic book series written and drawn by Patrick Keck. Ghouls, graveyards and macabre visions collide in a strange Halloween tale published by The Mansion Press. Join Pat for a special release party on Sunday November 15 at Floating World Comics in Pioneer Place Mall. Plus… a Repressed Cinema Shocking Shrieking Short Films Presentation from Ian Sundahl.

At the Apple Tree Cemetery lives a ghoul by the name of Lime Dill.

All Hallows’ Eve is almost here, and Lime Dill can feel it in his putrid bones. The fragile and feverish souls of the graveyard are awakened by the ripening fruit at the half-light hour, and Lime Dill calls them to gather in the green fog beneath the dying sun.

Bernice, a young woman obsessed with the macabre, and her fellow creeping-dread fanatic and friend Natalia can also sense that something is changing. This Halloween is slipping into a vile phantasm — one from which Bernice may never return.

Lime Dill Halloween marks the beginning of a new comic book series written and drawn by Patrick Keck.

A strange and macabre journey into the heart of Halloween, Lime Dill Halloween brings together graveyards, ghouls, feverish visions and a fascination with everything lurking on the darker side of the imagination.

Keck’s unmistakable cartooning gives life to a world that is grotesque, funny, unsettling and strangely charming all at once. Behind the rotting bodies, wandering souls and green cemetery fog lies the singular energy that makes his work so instantly recognizable.

WHO: Pat Keck and Ian Sundahl
WHAT: Lime Dill Halloween release party, book party and short film screening
WHEN: Sunday Nov. 15, 4-6pm
WHERE: Floating World Comics, Pioneer Place Mall, 340 SW Morrison St. STE 1300
