How bad do you want to feel good? Mind, body, soul connection is SO innately important to being able to thrive in life. It doesn’t mean having 17 different wellness practices to implement into your day. It means finding what actually works for you, and making a conscious effort to show up for it. Why? To feel good. To become more of who you are. To connect to something deeper and live a more meaningful life. For a long time, I was asking “what should I be doing?” instead of “how is this making me feel, and do I want to continue to show up for this?” Whether it was a job, a relationship, a friendship. The moment I stopped complying with the “shoulds” of life is when everything changed for me. & the moment I stopped treating wellness like a checklist and started listening to my body is when life got so much lighter, more abundant, & FUN! Sharing a few ways I check in with my mind, body, and soul, in hopes to inspire you to live more authentically Are you doing anything that’s helping you feel more connected lately? If so, share in the comments, I’d love to know 🤍 My @themantraco journal has little mantras scattered throughout the pages which I love & somehow always is the exact mantra I need to hear in that moment ✨ In this season of life, movement for me is a mix of @pvolvesoho functional movement, Pilates, and walking, but it shifts as seasons do. I’m always listening to my body first Prayer is the most powerful tool. Speaking out loud can feel strange at first, but it’s changed everything for me, and we are truly never alone. So speak your desires, your worries, your fears, your hesitations, your dreams...out loud.

Growth is hard. Like really hard. You have to absolutely want to become a better or different person, because the pathway to your highest self is not easy; not by a long shot. It’s a lot of facing your own self, and truly looking in the mirror to honestly evaluate who you are and what you want out of life. It’s easy to stay at a low vibrational level, to blame everything and everyone else for your problems, but it’s extremely difficult to put yourself under the microscope and accept that you might be your own worst enemy. Self sabotage is a defense mechanism we create along the way in order to not get hurt (an “I can end it before you end it!” type of bail out), but avoiding that pain usually ends up bringing more strife to your life in the long run. The darkest parts of us aren’t meant to be feared. They are often learned behaviors that have kept us feeling safe or justified in the past. When you embark on the journey to enlightenment, it’s often discovered that we don’t need to follow those old patterns anymore, and that we are now safe in who we are, where we are at physically, mentally, spiritually. For anyone struggling with growth, try repeating this to yourself throughout the day: “I am safe with who I am. I am safe with where I am. I do not need to adhere to old negative patterns that have been keeping me stagnant… I only need to believe in myself and all the goodness life has to offer in order to move forward.” Happy trails, my loves.

Who would’ve thought I’d feel better at 32 than I did at 22 ✨ I used to think feeling good came from one big change.
