It’s hard to put into words how I’m feeling tonight. 💔🦆 I definitely wasn’t ready for this season to be over. I wish tonight could’ve ended differently, but I’m so proud of everything this team accomplished this summer.

🏆 2026 Great Lakes West Champions

Thank you to all the players for making this summer one I’ll always remember. From the walk-offs and crazy comebacks to the celebrations, laughs, and unforgettable nights at the Duck Pond, this season had so many special moments.

As a fan, I loved being there cheering you guys on all summer. I also loved bringing my camera along and capturing some of those moments from the stands. I may have just been a fan with a camera, but getting to know some of you along the way and making those friendships made this season even more special to me. 📸💚

“Friends like us are winners, not only because we believe in ourselves, but because we believe in each other.”

That quote really reminds me of this team. No matter what happened, you guys kept fighting, believing in each other, and finding ways to come back.

To those moving on, I wish you nothing but the best wherever baseball and life take you. You’ll be missed at the Duck Pond! And to those who can return, I really hope to see some familiar faces back in Madison in 2027. 🦆⚾️

Tonight hurts, but it doesn’t take away from what an amazing summer this was.

Thank you for the memories and for a great 2026 season. 💚

Until next summer,
Your fan & photographer friend,
Missy 📸🦆💚
