The Eleventh Doctor

- - - - -

Some highlights from my run at the 11th Doctor from earlier in the year, although if you want a far more Screen Accurate version of precisely this please look to the frankly incredible work of @doctorwhocollector!

- - - - -

Featuring:

• Scroll stripe shirts by Paul Smith

• Layer boots by All Saints

• Ribbed braces by Mazey’s

• 10th sonic screwdriver by The Wand Company

• 11th sonic screwdriver by Nawya Replicas, with white handle by The Master Collector and replacement emitter by Credo

• Accurate leather elbow patches from The Doctor’s Wardrobe

…and lots more!

Thanks to everyone who contributed to my being able to make these posts, and also to everyone who then bought some of the pieces from me!

The inaccurate SJA shirt, along with some blue braces and the denim bow tie, are still available for sale on my Vinted - as is the Shetland tweed jacket!

Just some truly excellent screwdrivers coming out of China recently…

TWC 10th knock-off - really excellent & affordable Wand Company clone, sans remote control features. A little rough around the edges and quite plasticy in places but a genuinely fun little addition to my collection.

@nawya_replica do incredible work - their 9th Aztec is just totally gorgeous, no notes! (It’s available in stainless steel as well, but I’ve gone for the more accurate aluminium model.) Thanks to @raileo_dealer! - super straightforward to obtain through them.

Nawya’s Saxon Laser is apparently no longer available directly, so if you want one eBay is probably a good bet. Apparently later models had a shinier top bit, although mine is rather matte. Some parts of mine are extremely sharp, as well. With some small adjustments the @littleshopprops Rubbertoe upgrade metal crackle dial part should fit in place of the standard plastic one, so I’ve ordered… we’ll see how that goes!

Nawya’s 11th is truly gorgeous, and I can’t wait to get mine made even more accurate by @theartisantoolsmith. Currently I’ve got custom brass screws and leather grip which I’ve added myself, white handle and red button from @themaster_collector (get well soon!) and custom cores from @credo985211 - thank you to proxy buyer @redvelvetrades for helping acquire them!

My final Nawya for the moment is the 12th v2, in all its bright blue glory. I’ve made an easy custom tweak which is to reverse the claws so as to have the smaller ends of the pins on top, which is less inaccurate.

Honourable shoutout: my @rb_replicas 8th sonic, which is just 🤌

A shiny @celestialtoystore Smith sonic!
Again, huge thanks to @themaster_collector for upgrading it.

And also a comparison to the shark eaten sonic by @dangerindustry

Now I only need to wait for the new @rubbertoeprops sonic...
From left to right, we have the shark eaten sonic by @dangerindustry, the Remote by @thewandcompany, a @nawya_replica 11 with custom cores by @credo985211 and last, but certainly not least, the @celestialtoystore sonic, modified by @themaster_collector

Here are my completed budget Eleventh Doctor Boots! I quickly discovered that since these boots are made of artificial leather, they wouldn’t distress how I wanted them to, so I chose to once again use paint to imitate wear, over aging the shoe naturally.

These boots were Matt Smith’s first, the All Saints Layer boots, first seen during filming for The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone in 2009.

Also featuring the @nawya_replica Eleventh Doctor Sonic Screwdriver, including a splendid upgraded white handle from @themaster_collector
