In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, we’re honoured to share the words of one of our valued clients Fatma Rashid, CEO & Founder of the Maternity Project. ✨

“Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi once said, ‘Strength grows when it is shared,’ and I believe this beautifully reflects the ethos Emirati women have embraced and what this celebration represents.

We often think success is learned by surrounding ourselves with successful women. But I believe it begins much earlier, at home, with the Emirati women who came before us, who defined success through their own strength, resilience and ambition, and raised us to believe we could strive for even more.

I never imagined I would one day have the courage to venture out on my own and build a business. But I now realise that courage did not begin with me. It was built on the foundation my mother created for me: through her support, her example and her belief in what I could achieve.

Perhaps that is one of the greatest strengths of Emirati women: that our success is not ours alone. It is shared, passed forward and built upon from one generation to the next.”
