POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Tryon truly holds a special place in my heart. From the filmmakers, the town, the passion, the everything. I feel nothing but gratitude to this festival.

Thank you to everyone who came out and watched Are We Just Flowers?, Inflatable Dragons, and Temporia. It meant so much to be able to bring all of them to a festival I respect so much.

Just this year, I had so many full circle moments that have reminded me how far I've come since my first time here, and just as equally it reminded me how much more there is to do next. But most importantly, it's a festival that gives me so much gratitude for what I have now, and I'm just so thankful for this great community of filmmakers that just keep getting better.

Thank you again for everything @tryoninternationalfilmfest and already looking forward to next year!

Some stories never die. They live in the people who carry them, the art that captures them, and the places that hold them.

On October 2nd, we're gathering at one of Charlotte's most historic cemeteries for a night that proves exactly that.

Where Stories Live: An Outdoor Film Showcase Under the Stars brings together living history storytellers, spoken word artists, four powerful short films, an open mic, and a community raffle.

All under the open sky.

Bring your lawn chair. Bring your blanket. Bring your people.

Filmmakers featured:
@thevowshortfilm "The Vow"
@themattwebb21 "Used To Be"
@kagangoh "Common Law"
@threadstohope "Meet Me At The Bridge"

🎟️ First 50 tickets are just $5. Grab yours now — link in bio or checkout our story!

This collection brings together beautifully crafted shorts that could hold their own at any film festival. “Standout” has a double meaning: 1) Many of the shorts have characters who stand out because they feel different, overlooked, or determined to find their place. 2) This block has shorts that stand out as some of the festival’s most memorable and touching films. These films will give young festival goers plenty to talk about after the credits roll.

Join us September 13 at 2:45pm at Like You Children's Film Festival.
