Here’s another behind the scenes, this time with @themellowdawn , our lady of leather goods, the M in MAST. Mellow has been working her tail off to streamline her extremely labor intensive work flow, by digging deep into her process, growing her skill sets and building partnerships. For those of us who are already fans of her beautiful leather bags, belts and other gorgeous treasures, we will have the opportunity to see more of her designs brought to life. All the same integrity, attention to detail and care will always be front and center for the piece we reach for time and time again. For those who are new to Mellows work, you’ll meet the human behind the next leather piece you’ll fall in love with. The bag you’ll always reach for, the piece that says I deserve something made with form, function and a whole lot of love. Let’s follow along with her journey as she brings this next chapter to light. Shop Mellows pieces online and in store and follow along as she brings this next chapter to light. #shopsmall #tucsonboutiques #leatherbag #mercadosanagustin #luxuryleather

Introducing the first in our series of behind the scenes/home/studio shorts we’ve been working on.. This first in the series is me ( Tasha) at my sweet little ranchita @ponyupranchtucson which is where I live, work and am filled with wonder and inspiration daily. It’s not an easy life, one of a creative, but having such a dreamy haven with all of these amazing animals and humans I love is certainly a dream come true. More to come for Sofie, Mellow and I, including studio tours, interviews and more! Thanks to Suza for working so hard to make us feel comfortable and remotely confident being on camera ( and audio!). 🫠🫠🫠 ***All audio and video created and edited by Suza Moses for use by MAST exclusively. Stay tuned for more! #shopsmall #tucsonboutiques #madeintucson #mercadosanagustín #desertliving

Clearly I have no social media chops. 😂 But, I really believe in what I’m doing and what it takes to get there, so I hope that ya’ll forgive my clumsiness 🤡

Here’s a peek at what Mellow, the M in MAST, @themellowdawn has been working on ( along with MAST and family and life ) lately. Being a small brand is challenging on so many levels, and after 16 years of honing her leather skills and having MAST as the primary outlet for her beautiful work, she is raising seed money to expand her production, which will be a win win for all of us! Please take a moment to explore her campaign, which runs for six weeks. You can support by shopping her incredible pieces available at MAST or sharing and supporting her It Takes a Village campaign. We can’t wait for the next chapter of this incredible journey! Join us in supporting her and helping to grow her small business and ours! #shopsmall #madeintucson #leather #leatherbag #supportsmallbusiness

We’ve been pretty quiet lately on our socials and to be honest, it’s been pretty nice to have a break from it.. The combination of the state of the world, the challenges of running a small business, and the difficulties of figuring out how to have any kind of reach on social media have led us to take a breather from posting much. But WE ARE BAAAAAAAAAACKKK!!! And we hope you’ll stick around for the ride.. We’re not always great at this end of things, but we’re working on it all the time, to bring you fun, lovely, authentic and inspiring content. Let us know what you’d like to see from us. From our little team to you, thanks for being here for the wild ride🐎 Happy summer.. XO Mellow, Sofie and Tasha #shopsmall #tucsonboutiques #mercadosanagustin #jewelry #leathergoods
