✨Mission Monday: CHOOSE.

Every day, we choose who we’re becoming.

We choose how we respond.
We choose how we lead.
We choose how we love.

Following Jesus isn’t just a one-time decision — it’s a daily choice.

📖 John 15:12

College Getaway 2026 🤍

This past weekend, college students from across Mississippi gathered for a time of worship, community, and intentional conversation. From powerful worship moments to small-group discussions and shared laughter, God moved in meaningful ways.

We’re grateful for every student, leader, speaker, and volunteer who helped make this weekend impactful. Praying that what began here continues to grow on campuses across our state.

As we stand at the close of another year, it’s a perfect moment to reflect on the journey we’ve taken together and to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the support we’ve received. This year brought a lot of challenges, triumphs/successes (both at a personal and ministry level) and a lot that’s yet to be accomplished. Through it all, your encouragements have been unwavering.

We are especially thankful for our brothers and sisters in Mississippi, whose incredible support through the giving of baseball equipment and prayers has made a significant impact on our ministry and the people we serve. Your commitment to our mission have not only provided us with the necessary resources but have also uplifted our spirits. Every travel and piece of equipment you donated and every prayer you shared has helped us reach out and serve those in need, and for that, we’re grateful.

Together, we have been able to make a difference in the lives of so many including primary, high schools, communities within Arua and the refugee settlements, demonstrating the love and light of God in practical ways. Your faithfulness & trust inspires us to press on, knowing that we are not alone in this journey.
Thankful for my family in Montana (@sue.murr and Martin, Becky) who’ve constantly encouraged me even in those times when I felt like giving up ministry. The love and support through those down seasons cannot be compared to anything. I am grateful!
I also cannot thank my brothers and sisters here in Arua enough. Those who’ve laboured without complaining to volunteer by striving to see that every one in this region gets to play baseball and know Jesus. Thanks for the sacrifice, hard work , resilience and commitment.

As we open the door to a new year, we look forward to continuing this mission still, with you by our side. Your support constantly fuels our passion and commitment to serve God and our community.

Wishing you all a blessed and joyful New Year. Thank you for walking this path with us. Blessings!

✞ Ephesians 2:8-9 says ‘For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.’
A year ago today I prayed the most important prayer of my life, sat in Meridian BSU with Ember. This past year of knowing God has presented so many challenges but has also given me a great many blessings. This post includes some of them;
1. I was baptised on the 15th of November in what I now call my home church, Northcrest Baptist
2. Ember Temple - who led me to Christ and continues to pour into me every day
3. Joined FCA lead team and went to my first camp
4. Served at Northcrest for Surge weekend with buddy AL
5. Went to the MS BSU spring conference
6. Spent my Birthday with the most incredible people that God has given me
7. Sang a solo at my last Northcrest Service
8. Served Gorebridge Parish Church Stage ‘n’ slam
9. Moved to BMCU and was given another group of people I get to call family
10/11. Found a new ‘home church’ and created even more relationships through it
12. Learned to find beauty in everything
- Thank you to every single person who was a part of this year, you all truly are gifts from God! 🫶🏻

It’s just day 3 and the progress in Okufura SS is so astonishing. These girls and boys are all in to learn. So encouraging how the teachers are also so involved including praying for their students and athletes.
This week has surely been so uplifting. We praise God for how much we’ve done with these schools
