summer 2023 AAAAHHHH- no but in all seriousness probably the wackiest summer i’ve had so far: -first time on a sag set (squeezed one in there before the strikes heehee) -movie premiere for @vulture_film !!! -moved out of my house of the last 3 years :,) back in seattle! - DOAPP is finished and has been accepted into one film festival so far!! -got to participate in the last installment of @themesmerism film series in INFERNO -attended @perfartsproj in north carolina doing nothing but learning and creating art every day for 3 weeks straight!! -participated in @sct_seattle ‘s workshop for the snow queen as gerda and i really got to learn a lot from these professionals -i also have a hand in @thecinemadrifter ‘s newest film The Disappointment Girls -and i worked as a dialect coach on a film! all by myself!! for the first time!!! i can’t tag everyone i want to, just know that every single person i met made a massive impact on me that i’ll carry with me ❤️ until next time!

To hell and back again ❤️‍🔥 last night we wrapped my next feature film INFERNO, finishing the story of The Mesmerism started over five years ago. I can’t thank everyone enough who’ve supported me on this project - it’s definitely the most fun I have had making a project yet, and easily the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. To the amazing crew that trusted me for 10 days of shooting, I know I put you through hell but it was a joy working with you. To the cast who gave it their all to bring these characters to life, I can’t wait for the world to see you (and thanks for putting up with all my silly references). A huge thank you to the extras who came out and danced all night with us, and I can’t thank enough everyone who’ve donated to this film. Over 65 people are on this project so far, and more to come. For some people, this was their first chance to be on set - and others are veterans bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience. There was a place for everyone here. We’ve made something so special and it couldn’t have been done without you. Here’s a few moments from the past ten days that made me smile. Too many folks to tag, but I hope you know who you are. Today’s the last day of AAPI Heritage month, and I wanted to talk about my cousin @_quangn ❤️ we’re both Vietnamese-American artists of multiple disciplines, but most importantly, we’re family. I think there’s something really special about working with people who want the best for you. At the end of the day, we’re given this opportunity to make some amazing art to honor everyone who’s come before us. After working on several projects over these past few years, I’m so excited to have @_quangn serve as the Director of Photography for Inferno.
