We’re incredibly grateful to have partnered with @MentalHealthCollective to help sponsor the puppy adoption experience at this year’s AYAC Conference.

A huge thank you to @visionsteen for bringing together such an inspiring community dedicated to connection, collaboration, and innovative approaches to this space.

AYAC is so much more than a conference—it’s the result of countless hours of passion, purpose, and dedication from the amazing Visions team. We’re honored to be part of it and thankful for all that you do.

It’s a privilege to support a community that’s continually redefining what healing and hope can look like. ❤️

Our 1st Annual West Coast Fight Night for Charity was a HUGE success.
🥊
To our fighters @smpaulo @joser90265 @rfalexander13 @_deanmoses @southbaydano @dylanthejaywalker: weeks of training, promoting, and raising money, then you showed up in the Palm Springs heat and gave everything in the ring! You all alone raised $2,900 toward our $8,000 goal for NAMI California.

To everyone who packed the lawn and cheered them on, thank you!

And to our sponsors, we couldn’t have done it without you: @the_blackburn_group, @visionsteen, @driftwoodrecovery, and @themhcollective.

And thank you to the @westcoastsymposium for bringing such a great group of professionals together.

Same time, same place next year.
👊 Will you be in the ring?

First responders carry what most people never see — and over time, that weight can become something they carry alone.

Through the EQUUS Foundation’s support of the 2026 Horses for Mental Health Campaign, healing is being approached differently. Horses offer a grounded, nonjudgmental space where first responders can reconnect, regulate, and begin to release the emotional weight of their work through presence rather than words.

“We are committed to protecting horses and strengthening the horse-human bond in ways that improve lives on both ends of the lead rope,” said Dr. Karin Bump, EQUUS Foundation Chief Operating Officer. “Science is catching up to what we see every day — horses have an extraordinary ability to help people feel seen, grounded, and safe. Because horses respond to what we feel rather than what we say, they create powerful moments of awareness and connection that can open the door to real healing.”

In honor of May — Mental Health Awareness Month, this story highlights the importance of alternative pathways to healing and the powerful bond between horses and humans.
