It’s prom season and my friend @themidlifebecoming made a post sharing her prom pic. It made me nostalgic so here it goes: Junior year was my hardest year in high school. I was in a codependent relationship while also making questionable decisions and “heading down the wrong path”. I would say this is the start of my perpetual living in Survival mode. If I could tell that version of me one thing it would be to slow down and get to know yourself before making any big life decisions. 🌿 PS. I had my hair in dreadlocks and then freaked out about having them at prom so I totally ruined my hair combing them out. I wish I had kept them in. 😂 #risemidlifemindset #trustyourintuition #rebuildingher #nostalgia #oldprompic

• what’s really behind feeling “stuck”
• how to move forward without pressure

Here’s the truth most women don’t hear enough:
You’re not starting from zero.
You’re starting from experience, wisdom, and a deeper knowing of what actually matters now.

“Not everything in life needs fixing.
Some things just need softening.
A slower morning.
A calmer mind.
A gentler way of treating yourself.
Start there 🤍”
