Absolutely — if today’s peptide landscape existed back in the golden-era or even the early 2000s competition days, prep would’ve been a completely different game. Back then, all guys had to work with was: • Clen • T3 • Heavy stims • High-dose gear • Brutal water manipulation • Starvation-level dieting • Hours of cardio • GH if you had serious money No recovery tools. No metabolic support. No joint protection. No appetite control besides sheer discipline and suffering. Now look at what’s available: Peptides that would’ve changed EVERYTHING MOTS-c – improves mitochondrial function, energy, carb tolerance Tesamorelin/CJC-1295/Ipamorelin – GH elevation without crazy water retention or insulin resistance GLP-1/GIP agonists (in micro-doses for appetite control) – imagine dialing hunger to zero late prep AOD-9604 – fat-loss–leaning GH fragment BPC-157 / TB-500 – recovery, joints, soft tissue healing 5-Amino-1MQ – insane recomposition potential MK-677 low-dose – sleep, recovery, fullness without the huge bloat Cardarine – endurance levels that would’ve made fasted cardio effortless SR-9009 – metabolic boost + energy Follistatin/ACE-031 analogs – unheard-of muscle retention during deep deficit Old-school preps were basically: “Hold onto as much muscle as possible while starving to death suffering every day.” Modern preps could be: “Support metabolism, keep muscle, stay healthy, recover better, suffer way less.” And the health factor is a big one. The old guys absolutely trashed: • thyroid • joints • digestion • cortisol levels • sleep • insulin sensitivity

This #Repost is for all my Friday morning #UpperRx team (even tho it’s a leg photo 😉) there is growth through your effort, not just your completion, of a task 🙏🏻 . . . #Repost @hilaryrifkin 🙋🏻‍♀️ ・・・ “You know you've reached middle age when your weightlifting consists merely of standing up.” ~ Bob Hope . . . Truth: some days you are crushing all of your PBs and others it’s a bar and a band and that’s all folks. So much factors into how it’s all going to go down but if there is anything I have learned from my yo-yo life of sleep deprivation, too many classes, not enough (or too much) food, too much time off or just one day of rest, is that it all comes back. And it comes back fast. I had an epic week of training last week. And today felt good but maybe not quite to epic standards. But as far as I can tell the earth is still in rotation and I am still breathing and tomorrow we go again. Today wasn’t your day either? Stay the course. Your day (and mine) is coming. #optimist . . . . #FridayFacts. #staythecourse #trainhard #workhard #discipline #focus #patience #gamedayeveryday #truthfultuesday #momswholift #resistancebands #conditioning #heavymetal #barbell-strength #leanmachine #igfitness #fitmom #fitover50 #fitnessaddict #fitpro #fitspo #findyourfocus #aspire #inspire #thismomcan 📷: @zombie_raccoons

“Your display of courage, will inspire courage in others” - Angela Manuel-Davis . . . A few years ago I had just about given up on staying in fitness as a career. I’d had too many false starts back in the US and missed my London team. But it took only one bootcamp with @akiniko 3 years ago to give me the courage to stick it out. He set the bar for courage, potential and passion back then and now. His example brought me here (which ironically keeps me from there!) I warned my #StrictlyStrength class this morning I was still fired up —physically and mentally— from my Friday with @aarmy and that feeling isn’t going anywhere soon. So go on then #westchester I’ll show you mine if you show me yours #Courage #LFG @lifetime.life . . . .
