POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

*HAD TO REPOST- Original Slides Post cut off some clips that had more details to the story I feel are important for the viewer*

Hopefully this video helps someone that may be in a similar Pinch! Of course I was nervous going to court.. TWICE. But, Good Things Happen when you’re Honest. Both with others and w/ YOURSELF. So many times we find ourselves in a position- where we can either:

1. Take Ownership of our Actions (and the possible Repercussions that may come with)

2. Run Away from our Problems.

If there’s one thing I hope someone gets out of this story- is that the problems can only get bigger if you run. Yes, I screwed up. YES- I OWNED THAT. And lucky me.. 2x both Judges dismissed my case and lowered my fines to what could’ve been a major blow to my Career and Life goals (not forever- but for the time being). From $1800 each and possibly losing my license for a year.. to $190 total. What could’ve been a major wrench in my career path, personal life plans etc… ended up all working out. Go Figure!

The more we Take Ownership of our Actions- the more likely, that someone’s going to extend a hand, and help you out. We all make mistakes, and it takes Courage to take Ownership of those mistakes AND the potential Dues we must pay to fix those mistakes. Sitting in court, hearing sob story after sob story- I knew “when I get up there- I’m just going to say The Truth, here’s WHY I did X, and I’m here to face my Judgement”. And both times- the Prosecutor & Judge saw something that convinced them to show leniency on me.

Never run from your Problems. FACE THEM. You’d be surprised how many times you “get lucky” when you are All In on taking Ownership of your Life.

The thing with running from your problems- is unless you plan on always fleeing never finding Peace… they will always catch up to you. At some point you have to face the music and say “Here I Am”. People appreciate when someone can admit their Faults, and show that they give a damn about their Reputation.

Hope this helps- have a great weekend! 🤠💭🏆🛻

Hanging Leg Raises- another great tool in the toolbox if you deal with back pain. If your workday requires you to be seated for lengths of time- your back pain may stem from weak hip flexors! Not only that- but this exercise will also train your grip strength while allowing your spine to decompress which will provide you some relief temporarily, as well as noticeably if you stick with it long enough. 😎💭🏆🫡💪

All skills are Conquerable with enough Time, Consistency, & willingness to Fail in order to Win.

Mom is in town for the week so training routine has looked different this week. I took these clips this morning after my run, while my mom was finishing her walk to start the day. Been a hit since I’ve touched the Sticks- very long time since dual wielding. Feels good when you’ve done something so many times that it feels like second nature, where time slows down as you move & you enter the Flow State. And I still have so many arenas to conquer- but my pivot in training the last 6mo has taught 2 things:

1. In some areas, I’m so familiar. In others- I still need to log more hours of diligent work. That’s good- training is “easy” when you have goals, have strengths, & more importantly you KNOW the weaknesses you have. & you absolutely hammer them.

2. “The Total Athlete Package” was an idea I came up with at a particular point in my life. Have slipped and busted a** many, many times in my life journey to achieve “that”. I can’t even exactly put a finger on the full definition of that- bc it’s evolved, as I’ve evolved. But I can say that this Pursuit- has opened so many different opportunities for me, many of which at the time I wondered “HOW?!”. But the truth is I know how. My best still has always been my ability to enter the Flow State.

And anyone can do it. I can’t say anyone can do anything with their body anytime- but I can confidently say you’d surprise yourself with just how skilled you can get, at a multitude of things you want to experience in life. 90% of them require the investment of Time, Consistency, & the willingness to Fail to Succeed.

VISUALIZING PORTION SIZES WITHOUT A SCALE:

Assuming you are either in a body recomp, surplus or maintanence- these little rule of thumbs will help you (no pun intended). If you don’t have a scale- you won’t be as accurate, but you can follow this:

🤜 = amount of protein on plate
👋🏻= carbs on plate
👋🏻= veggies on plate
👍= thumbs worth of health fats on plate

Obviously the more accurate you are like when using the scale- the more precise your nutrition results be. But don’t let a scale be the reason you feel and look better in your body. Don’t let it be an excuse bc now you have a visual of what needs to be on your plates consistently to make change!

Grip is one of those things that everyone can improve- & is a major tell tale of your current, & historical fitness level, as well as overall level of resilience.

If I shake your hand and I feel I strong grip I know:

1. You probably not only lift weights, but his generally day to day probably moves heavier objects around with ease.

2. It means you are getting in enough protein to build enough muscle tissues & strength- to be able to exhibit your grip strength.

3. You probably have pretty good neuromuscular mind muscle connection, bc as you contract your grip- your body enters a state of arousal, and the surrounding muscles will subconsciously & often without notice, begin flexing as well.

Try it next time your home: best way to test? Hang limp from a pull up bar.

In terms of isolating the Forearm muscle, we want to train them in a pronated a supine grip, potentially in a neutral grip if I was seated. Slowly rolling the weight to my fingers tips, then trying to reach my knuckles into my palms. Elbows rolled back- arms extended about 30deg from the body.

Do these- STICK WITH THESE, and you’re gonna see some forearm development over the next few months. These muscles are designed to carry your body weight with one arm off a cliff if needed… so yea, train them heavier than what you’re using now. 60lb ain’t cutting it 😎💭🏆💪🏻

PS: shirt was a limited edition gift from @ehplabs x @ghostbusters collab. Don’t see this one too often 😎👻🥶🏆

What’s your favorite chest exercise?

3

1

One of my favorite poses- largely due to the effort I’ve had to give to align my muscles for a back shot given my scoliosis curve. You can kinda see it in the final image I put. But I take a lotta pride in pushing myself competing with myself so being able to train my back, having seen it get stronger year by year- has been an amazing journey for me.

Anyways lol- here is How Bumstead and all the serious BB guys are setting up for their back double Bicep. Pitch on the toes , get those quads activated turn the knees out to gain some stability to the floor- then scooping the elbows at the top. Not leaving to much bicep gap open when you hit the pose! Remember- a lot of times Less is More.

If you have a pose you’d like covered- comment below and I’ll put one together for this week! Have a great Sunday😎💪🏻
